The roller rink is amazingly smooth, and if you want to go skating, it’s a lot better than rolling down bumpy roads or circling an empty parking lot. Last few times I went there, the shag carpet was removed for a future renovation that took forever. I know how to skate well, but the idea of not having any padding and skating near a concrete wall seemed unsafe. Their snack bar and seating area is pretty good and reasonably priced(a can of pop or small bottle of Gatorade for $ 1.00). Skating fees are also low, and if you have your own skates, it’s only like $ 4 for two hours. The men’s restroom is horrible and looks like it hasn’t been touched in decades. The urinal didn’t flush and the sink didn’t work.

It’s a great place. I grew up going there and my own children went there. The owners never forget the kids and you can tell they truly love their job. They keep the kids safe and the place is well supervised. The prices are very reasonable. They offer a free skate once a month and they offer a late skate for a little extra money. When it comes to a place that has fond memories and a place for kids to be safe they are on the mark. Yes, the place is dated and looks the same as when I went as a kid but, it’s kept up really well and the shag carpeted walls are great when skating too fast!

This place is a very popular hangout for the local kids from Jefferson Schools. My 8 and 10 year old boys love it here. it’s quite dated and smells kind of weird. The staff is friendly. Definitely in need of some updates though. There is quite a history involved with this place.
