Do NOT judge a book by the cover, nor the restaurant by the location. We missed it the first time because the virtual alley that led to the trailer park and all that comes to mind when you hear trailer park threw us for a loop. But I’d heard too much good about the place and had to try it… so we headed down Fox and Hound Way and boy am I ever glad we did! Our waitress, gosh I wish I recalled her name, knew the menu well and was clearly a fan of the housemade dressings. Once I tried the Thousand Island… I knew why! If I’d been headed home instead of on my way to a vacation, I would have offered to buy a to-go cup of it. WOW… truly THEBEST I’ve had! They offer an 8 oz prime rib which I appreciate tremendously. I am a light eater and normally am having to order a 16 oz PR, but 8 was great – I had half and took the other with me to enjoy later that day… certain things I WILL take with me on vacation. :) The VOTD was my side, I love peas and don’t find them that often. The banquettes were comfortable, the décor very much what I’d expect from a place named Fox and Hound and the dining room appeared to be laid out well for room to move even at full capacity. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and it was moist, juicy and perfectly seasoned! This is about 40 minutes from our home and we will absolutely be back in the future to enjoy more items from the menu and the full bar!

We were looking for a nice local place for lunch off the highway and were lucky to find this place. The trailer park setting is a little off putting, but don’t be deterred. The service was excellent and attentive, the food was timely and well prepared. The hand– cut fries were particularly delicious. The portions and prices are reasonable– definitely worth a stop.

A nice locally owned restaurant that I am glad we found. We both had steaks that were flavorful and tender. Portions were reasonable. The house merlot was a bargain. Service was reasonably attentive but uninformed about special dietary requirements like gluten free. Fortunately several items are naturally gluten free so I had no problem.

What a hidden gem! Don’t let the outside scare you off. I had a steak and my wife had blackened chicken. Both were delicious! Our waitress Teri was fantastic! Definitely try the French onion soup! Will definitely go back.

Not impressed. Baked potato was old. Steak was average and overpriced. Service was attentive and friendly though.

Enjoyed our dinner at Fox & Hound. We weren’t sure where it was as you can’t see it from the road. It’s back by a trailer park, but don’t let that stop you, keep going back further. We were surprised as it looks like a decent restaurant. Once inside the dining room is ok. It could use some TLC and updating. My booth seat was ripped and had a huge dip in the middle I thought I was going to fall through. The menu has a good selection. We had burgers, pretty good. My husband had prime rib. He said it was pretty good. It was pricy for this location at $ 27, but considering your other options, this was a win.

This has been a family favorite for over 35 years. Steaks are famous. Not over priced for the quality. This is a privately owned restaurant and they take pride in there food and service. Try the potato soup, you’ll love it. Also amazing burgers not frozen patties ! Great for dates, family events or clients. P. S. There is a bar area in the back you can also eat there, However, you and your family would never know it unless that is what your looking for. B Keller

Oh my gosh! This place knocks every steak joint out of the running for me! The husband and I went here on our way back to our campsite from The Lost Sea and Ruby Falls. Had a craving for steak and the husband saw the billboard for this place. It was a little weird at first because when we got here the husband said ‘Looks like a strip club’. And when we walked in there was a doorbell didn’t realize why they kept that until I read some of the reviews here. But I was a little worried it was a strip club at first. But when we rang the doorbell it was a lovely lightly dimmed restuarant with steak that had my mouth watering. I ordered the Prime Rib with baked potatoe and french onion soup and the husband got the bacon wrapped sirloin with roasted potatoes and broccoli cheddar soup. DELICIOUS! I think I had dreams of that prime rib that night. It was such a shock to the both of us how good the food was that as soon as we got back from vacation we told everyone! It’s such a wonderful little hole in the wall that I loved!

Wow!!! A great old time hidden secret steak supper club. Quality meat and great charm. This is a Must stop if ever traveling through the area. A true classic joint just like on Chicago.

Came here with my family. Was told best on menu was burgers and steaks. We ordered a variety of food, I the steak but also a burger, the monte cristo sandwich, and the fried shrimp. Apparently their french onion soup is one of their specialties, so a few of us ordered that. It wasn’t bad, but it was far too salty for me. The steak and my potato was good, and well prepared, my mom’s burger actually looked the best. Dessert was a bomb, apple dumplings that were soggy and unflavorful. Afterwards the waitress admitted that desserts are NOT their specialty(why not before we ordered?). Service was very friendly and efficient, prices were a little high though. I paid quite a bit for a rib eye that actually wasn’t very thick. However, we had a good time, and nobody was unhappy with their dinner, so give it a go! Bear in mind also, when you vist this restaurant it’s up a very high road and passes several buildings and homes before you see the restaurant, so just keep going up the road until you find it!

Don’t let the outside fool you. The food is delicious. This was formerly a supper club and the owners kept the buzzer at the inside door that members had to push to gain admission. Nice but not elegant. I learned about the place from some TDOT(highway) guys who always eat lunch here when in town. For tourists it is about five minutes off the interstate and worth every minute.
