All sorts of things to buy from cards, jewelry, clothes, home décor and oodles more. Fun, sweet, and helpful staff with on street parking all around the store. I take my time looking around here, there is never any pressure while shopping and the atmosphere is comfy and artsy. There is pretty much something there that anyone would find interesting and or like.

We LOVE this store! Every time we’re in Rhode Island visiting friends we are sure to include Green Envy in the agenda. Not only do they stock the best gifts, but everything is Eco-​friendly which I really appreciate. There are a few things I stock up on every time I’m in the store: 1.) handmade greeting cards are really cute, funny, and one of a kind. They are fair trade so not only are you getting a unique card, but also supporting great cause! 2.) My fiancé must have her farmasthetics lip gloss. 3.) Handmade jewelry for Mothers Day, Christmas, or any other gifting occasion.
Rachel, the owner, is super nice and is always ready to help me pick out gifts and talk about Eco-​friendly and fair trade products– which she is truly passion about. I strongly recommend this store to tourists and locals alike!

Where can you go in Newport to get great gifts while you’re on vacation, holiday shopping, or just a little something for yourself? Green Envy! This little shop is full of handmade, upcycled, recycled, eco friendly Fair Trade items that are perfect for everyone! From hats and gloves that are made from old sweaters, handmade cards, eco-​friendly skin products, to jewelry that is made from old Newport Bridge tokens, Scrabble pieces, vintage finds, and even recycled flip flops!!! (Yes, I said recycled flip flops. And do you know the best thing? They’re $ 1.00 each for the bracelets, $ 2.00 for the rings). Where else in Newport can you get that?
The owner (Rachel) is very warm & welcoming. And she is very knowledgeable about every item in her store. Have a question about a piece of jewelry? She knows the answer! A question about a particular artist? She knows the answer! It’s a delightful shopping experience!
Pass over those tourist-​trap places and go to Green Envy! You will not be disappointed!

Drive from CT to this awesome, Eco-​friendly shop! Always a great, eclectic variety of jewelry, clothes and items too numerous to mention! I will definitely be back, the selection changes each time! Very affordable and warm, personable service. What really stands out is the story and purpose behind each piece.
