Very satisfied with the work I had done on my 98 Saturn. The front upper engine mount was in a real need of replacing. It was terribly loud to drive. I think I had been quoted $ 350 a while ago at some other place. I got out for a little over $ 100 and done the next day, and my car has never sounded better. It drives so much smoother too.
I believe the owner is the solo mechanic, so his prices don’t have to support ads and labor crews like larger places. I feel weird posting specific dollar amounts, but I price shop too, and want people to know his work is excellent and charges reasonably.

This is a very small, locally-owned auto shop in Newport. I used to think he only worked on old cars, and while he definitely does great work on classic cars, but he’ll service any vehicle you put in front of him. The owner is always there to greet you when you walk in, and his prices are so reasonable. I never go to the dealership anymore, and he now has my business for all oil changes. Support LOCAL business!
