I recently did not replace my over-​the– stove built-​in in microwave when it died, and needed to figure out what to do with the now empty wall space. Then I went into Jovi, which had been recommended by someone at another store. Man, am I glad I did! Veronica spent a lot of time with me, and found many different possible solutions. She was wonderful. Now, I just have to figure out what color to paint the wall to do my purchase justice.
I’ll be back for sure, and whenever I have out of town guests I will definitely bring them there.

Furnishing a home on the Oregon Coast can be tricky, because there are not many high quality home décor stores here. After making the rounds of stores in Portland, Corvalis, Eugene and Salem, I always return to Jovi to buy. I love the eclectic nature of their unique home furnishings from around the world. The owners are very helpful, knowledgeable, and creative, and are always willing to suggest options for your personal decorating questions.

This store is a treasure-​trove! I feel so fortunate to have this boutique in our little town. It’s my ‘go-​to’ for thoughtful and unique gifts as well as several items which are my favorites in my own home. Veronica and Jodi go to considerable lengths when it comes to choosing one-​of-​a-​kind items for their store. Love, love this place!

I stop by and buy at least one item every time I am in Nye Beach. The store has so many unique items, you have to look closely and take several passes to see everything. She does such a nice job of finding such special items.
I could spend hours looking through this store. I always find a nice gift or home decoration. On my latest trip, I left feeling inspired to travel with a Paris book in my hands.

Wow. Really. A magical, ethereal store. It’s a store that could be anywhere in the world and be truly special. I found the most unusual and special gifts for friends, and of course myself. Bought a beautiful marble with ammonite light-​switch cover, two fabulous «cat» decorative throw pillows, and a great fossil ammonite. there was soooo much more I wanted!
I actually didn’t buy anything the first day, and wasn’t going to go back, but as we were leaving town, my Husband asked if i wanted to go back. I declined, and so we left. 3 minutes later we were parked in front of Jovi. He said, «get your things, because I can’t hear you lamenting the whole ride home. He’s so smart! If you are anywhere in the Newport area, make a detour and go to this store! I wish I didn’t live a days drive away… Love you Jovi!

I stopped in for a look after visiting the Panini Bakery/​Café next door. I have to admit — there are some really beautiful things in here. I could easily spend more money than I aught and not even fill a single shopping bag — beautiful scarves, throws, little rugs — accent pillows. Shelves full of candles and soaps — just exactly the kind of things I don’t really need, but love to smell and admire and wander through…
Their merchandise is – what is the word I keep seeing on Unilocal?— Spendy.
Beautiful. Great gifts if you’ve got a fat wallet.

I want to decorate my entire house in Jovi. Really, I think this may be the best furnishings store I’ve ever been in, in any city. I’m talking tablecloths, napkins, dishes, pot racks, lighting, hardware, rugs, soaps, candles and artwork. There’s also furniture, sculpture, clothing, jewelry, cards, decorating books, music and other gorgeous things you must see and will be dying to have.
Jovi collects beautiful things from around the world — Europe, Asia and South America — and arranges them in such a way that you could spend hours looking at every little thing. Touching, smelling, imagining it in your house. You’ll want to buy gifts for every woman you know, and a couple for yourself.
I’ve been in a lot of world market type stores and need to say that the merchandise at Jovi is very classy and understated. It’s not gaudy or cheap or garish. Everything is made with high-​quality materials and has been selected for its ability to mix and match with a variety of styles for an eclectic world-​influenced look. Every display is magazine worthy and even if you don’t buy anything, you will be inspired!

The goal of small boutiques like this is generally to draw together many captivating wares. This place was so successful that my friend and I didn’t manage to leave for 45 minutes in spite of it’s small space.

This shop is a gem in the middle of many tourist shops in Nye Beach. It definitely sticks out with its high-​quality items from all over the world. The owners have great taste and can help with picking out gifts. Every time I have to find a gift for a difficult person to shop for, I go to Jovi and get some help. I wish I could own everything in the store!
