Gotta be honest, high hopes, extreme disappointment. Placed an order, 5 minutes away. After the hour and 15 minutes I waited for the pizza to arrive, I discovered they only take cash. When I called the owner to see if there’s something else we could do, he(very condescendingly) told me «usually customers ask before hand if the restaurant accepts card». My rating is based on the service, not the quality of the food.

I ordered this when I was craving Bellevue’s Pasquale but Newport delivered to my house. My bf ravioli decent proportion but bland. I wanted the cheeseburger that Bellevue serves but went with a BBQ grilled chicken. Instead of the normal shredded or cut up chicken you would expect on a hoagie it was two big chicken breast that didn’t seem to quiet fit. With little sauce and not even a good cut down the middle it was difficult to eat. My bf also indulged in the«hot & spicey» cheese balls. Even me as a person who thinks mild sauce is to spicey didn’t find these cheese balls as either. overall disappointed that I called. With one exception, the garlic bread was decent sized and good.

I was in town to visit family and someone recommended Pasquale’s– and I am so glad I followed up on that recommendation! I loved the family-orientated atmosphere and the simple menu– plenty of options, but not too overwhelming. The prices were perfect for the serving size but honestly, I’d probably pay double! The pizza was delicious; the crust was cooked perfectly and I loved the flavor of the sauce. My partner-in-dining got«the hoagie» and said it was flavorful, had the perfect«meat to condiment» ratio and was a good size for the price. I can’t wait to come back and try the spaghetti! Next time you need something quick but delicious, skip the drive thru and grab a slice from Pasquale’s!

Never a disappointment coming here. We stopped by Pasquale’s this past weekend for lunch and I got the ravioli this time. They got us our jalapeño poppers out fast and out food out not long after. Everything was wonderful. Such a wonderful, small, and friendly spot with a little bit of history.

I love this place! The pizza is extra cheesy goodness that you can’t get any where else! I’m never disappointed when stopping by.

Nothing fancy, just plain old pizza and hoagies. This is your basic two star joint, but they do what they do in a four star way. The prices are right and it’s better than fast food burgers.

I’m not so sure why this place has so many negative reviews, there’s not a lot of places you can be absolutely faded into the early hours of the morning and grab a pizza to destroy in an oblivious state of drunk. To be honest, I don’t even remember what pizza I got, but whatever it was it was delicious. There wasn’t leftovers when I woke up the next morning. 8⁄10 would visit again.

Sick. Imagine a dense pancake with sick toppings and sauce from a jar. Frozen protein reheated and placed atop hoagie buns. Out of desperation and this place close, by I ate. Friendly staff, clean interior.

The customer service gets a –3 stars however. I try to give them chances every once in a while but it never improves. They’re just to put it frankly punks at times.

This place is great. I get the personal pizza with everything on it for $ 5.05! It doesn’t get any better than that. Way better quality and value than any chain pizza.

Ordered plain spaghetti, no sauce, no meat, just add mushrooms. Came with garlic bread. Cost: $ 7. You have got to be shitting me! I know the food cost can’t be more than $ 2. This is why I eat at Newport Pizza way more often, and now exclusively when I’m in Newport. The food isn’t bad, but at the prices they charge, so not worth it. Everything comes out of cans and bags, no fresh ingrediants whatsoever.

So I work on Mommouth street 3 days a week and I enjoy supporting the local business in the area. But this will be the last time that I support Pasquales. The last 4 times I have ordered the order has been wrong!!! The second time I ordered I thought that the food was really high prices for what I ordered. 2 fired side dishes and it came to $ 12.00 they are listed at $ 3.65 a piece. They said that it was a delivery charge and I work a block away. But a delivery charge is a delivery charge. Then to find out the delivery charge is $ 2.00. The 3rd time I ordered was last week and asked them to bring a menu, and it took 2 hours to get it right. This time they got the food right!!! :) I ordered something cost $ 3.65 and $ 4.90, I checked the prices on the internet menu when the food arrived they charged me $ 4.24 and $ 8.25 and called them. They said oh we changed our prices. I have a menu from last week and it matches the internet menu exactly? They didn’t apologize or offer anything at all, they said we’ll get to it. The food is good but not worth the aggravation. My recommendation just don’t do it! Make the trip to Bellevue if you want the real thing. The food is better, the people are better and ethical!

I was lured by the $ 5 small pizza and cannoli deal. You know the saying about when something sounds too good to be true. Not only was the pizza teeny tiny(probably smaller than a personal pan from Pizza Hut) but it was grody. Hard, flavorless, just plain bad. So disappointing considering all the other great fooderies on Monmouth. The Spaghetti Tuesday 2-fer deal sounds good, but I’m a little gun shy about going back, especially after reading the other reviews.

I was warned many times over never to confuse the Newport Pasquale’s with the one in Bellevue. I wish I had listened. I ordered two steak hoagies and garlic bread with cheese and disappointingly my food was no where near as good as what I get from their sister restaurant. The meat on my hoagie was only half-way edible(as in I lost my appetite for it half-way through the sandwich and threw the other half away) and resembled Play-Do. My boyfriend tossed out about a third of his hoagie. The garlic bread was slightly better but it was doused so heavily with garlic powder that it tasted bitter. Also, the bread didn’t come with any marinara dipping sauce, which I thought was pretty standard. Another annoyance was the the person who rang me up took my money, gave me change, and then went back to making sandwiches without washing his hands. Ewww. Should have been a pretty good indication of what I could expect from my meal.

Pasquales has been around forever. When I was a kid I ate there and loved their pizza. After 3 decades away, I recently returned to the area and tried them again. Sadly, not such great pizza. The crust tasted like cardboard and I think was a thawed out frozen one. The cheese topping was burnt. I’ll give them another chance to try the pasta and strombolis but sorry — not so fond of the pizza.
