Seen the post, thought it joke. But the stair said it all. There’s an unwelcome feeling as soon as u look through the door

Worst restaurant ever. They’re not«having a bad night», it’s a horrible restaurant in every aspect: quality of food, service, price, atmosphere. Side salad = small plate with an even smaller handful of iceberg lettuce with a little red cabbage and carrots with Kraft dressing. Oh, that homemade bread that’s supposed to come with most orders? Didn’t show up. Our waitress blamed her incompetence on having two new coworkers… which she described to us without any provocation(aka bitching). Oh, you’re out of your special and you’ve been out of it for a while? Why is it still on the chalkboard? That’s ok, we’ll just get the oyster stew. oh, you don’t have that either? We walked out of there at the same time as another customer and it seems we had the exact same experience. Overall, just don’t. Ever. Seriously, it’ll be the worst decision you’ve made in a while.

I went here tonight because a local recommended the place. She had been there four times and was very pleased with everything. I think I went on a bad night and they were so nice that I want to give a better review, but I can’t. I arrived after the server and the owner had left, so two chefs had to do everything. They were very nice and very helpful, but the food was just okay and the soup was kinda lukewarm. I thought I’d try the stuffed halibut, but it wasn’t’ actually stuffed, it was a filet with stuffing slapped on top. I’m thinking I might have had a better experience if I tried one of the sandwiches or fried options, but I wanted some fresh seafood(since the water is right there). The fish was fresh and tasty, the«stuffing» was not terribly good. Overall a bit of a disappointment for me.
