We brought our dog here and while our dog is a Samoyed the price we were quoted was expensive even for a Samoyed. Nevertheless, we agreed to it and went ahead. The quality of grooming was very good and she looked beautiful but the price was way over the estimate. WAAAY over the estimate. And the estimate was already very high. The price was nothing short of outrageous. While they did a good job, we won’t be back both because the estimate was way off, and also because it was just too pricey. (I see other reviewers were surprised by the prices too).

Will never go here again. Unprofessional owner, miss leading pricing a complete rip off for 4 hours

I dropped my dogs off here for day-​sitting while my husband and I spent the day exploring the Newport mansions. I had made an appointment over the phone about a week prior. The day-​sitting was a great option for someone visiting from out of town. Check-​in was quick and easy. They took my information and instructions (how much food to give, how many walks they should have, etc) and then I was out the door.
About halfway through the day they called to check in and let me know that everything was going well. They also asked if I wanted any grooming services. I got nail trims for $ 10 each. Pickup was as painless as drop-​off. They brought my dogs out, rang me up, and we were done. The only thing to be aware of is that when I was there they were only accepting cash payments. Make sure you plan ahead for that. My dogs came home smelling great, and I think they were brushed as well. I will definitely stop here again if I need pet sitting in Newport.

Crazy. Dropped off two dogs at 9:30am for grooming. They weren’t done until 7:30pm. The charge was $ 300! I groom my dogs monthly. Complete madness from a couple of rude girls. Both times I came in to get the dogs, there was never a bark. Dogs bark. Our dogs bark. Strange. Complete ripoff. To make matters worse, I have to finish off the grooming myself.

I was really excited to find a local groomer. I am very picky about who I let groom my dog because so many times I have gotten her back from the groomers and she has cuts on her skin. I’ve lived in New England for 2 years and 80% of the time I have waited until we go back home to NJ to get her groomed at her usual groomers.
This place had great reviews and they quoted me $ 40 — $ 60, the latter if she is really
pup is a shitzu poodle, 15lbs. I had already shaved most of my dog’s body a couple of weeks prior so I was excited about paying $ 40 for mostly her paws and face to be cut down. I had cut off the knots on her ears the night before so I was confident that we were good. The staff was very friendly and they have a parking lot which is great! I dropped her off at 8:30am on a Tuesday, and picked her up at 1:30pm. Unfortunately, I received a bill of $ 69 and some change which pretty much amounted to $ 80 with tip. I was not happy about this obviously so back to NJ we go. If price isn’t an issue for you, I would recommend this place. I was however disappointed at the inaccuracy of the estimate they gave me with no explanation for the increased price.

I brought my dog here for the first time and was very disappointed. Not only did I have to wait 20 minutes for my appointment, but the front desk woman was very rude. She didn’t even look up at me when I checked in. Then we met Cassie, the owner and she was very short and rushed us. The entire time we were waiting, the staff was yelling back at each other about other clients. It seemed very disorganized there and they were rescheduling clients the entire time we were there. I will not be taking my dog back there again.

Emir has been here a few times and we love the care she gets while she’s there. It just moved locations which isn’t the best with Newport summer traffic, no reflection on Sassie.,
It’s a chore to get there and pick up in the summer. I love the way she puts the pup on the red carpet when there done and sends a picture home! Such a special touch, live the owner she’s a sweet girl with a uplifting personality. I definitely recommend!!! Take your best friend for a spa day.

Just met Cassie today with our 5 dogs and she did a beautiful job clipping everyone’s nails. She was efficient, her energy was gentle and all the dogs loved her. I’m so glad she is near our house. We will be stopping by regularly —

Her services are truly that of a high end professional but priced for the everyday lifestyle. A total bargain for anyone.
