Swan Boat Club

We got to hang out at this member’s-only club with a friend of ours who keeps his boat here. The clubhouse provided a nice place to hang out before we left for our ride, and I was quite happy to find a changing table in the restroom for the baby (because a go-​fast boat does not provide anywhere nice to change a diaper). The drinks were quite tasty, the free popcorn kept me thirsty and everyone was friendly.
Although I don’t understand all the details, our friend says they have pretty good rates for docking a boat there for the summer (resulting in a ‘membership’). He did warn that when the wind is blowing a certain way, the water around the docks gets very shallow, so you’d need to be very careful getting in and out from the lake in the shallow channel.
