Carol has come to our home on many occasions to work on various projects, from the LR design, and most recently the kitchen/​family room design. She meets each opportunity with a keen eye, open ear, and digs for creative solutions. She has extraordinary vision — which we consider masterful! I am so lucky to have the chance to work with her.
Carol brings great understanding to the process of making a room and a home both functional and beautiful, balancing everything in a way we could not have done. She appreciates the things we like and the way we live and enhances that, selecting colors and placing furnishings in a way to get results we didn’t expect.
AS I was writing this, my husband added that he is also impressed with the result of working with Carol — and this is weighted heavily, as he was very resistant originally to working with any designer; however when we were having the exterior of our home re-​done, he requested that we meet with Carol to discuss exterior color selection, lightening, landscaping ideas — all of which she embraced with enthusiasm. My husband and I highly recommend Carol for any design of the home. She is easy to work with, professional, organized and fair in her billing, and a «master blender» of ideas, feedback and creativity.

We were surprised to read the earlier negative revues of Swift Morris Interiors, as from the moment we met Carol Swift, she was simply fantastic. We bought our apartment in Newport, RI in October 2012 but unfortunately had to return to London soon afterwards. We were fortunate however to to schedule appointments with Carol before leaving, where we outlined exactly how we envisaged our apartment should look, the quality of furnishings we wanted, and the budget we had available (which was not huge). We returned to Newport early in 2013 and to our delight, everything was just perfect — from hand-​carved chaise-​longues she had sourced in Marrakech, gorgeous leather commodes that fitted perfectly, beautiful artwork and quality rugs. Our apartment is now beautiful, and we feel that Swift Morris did a wonderful job, well within our budget by the way. They are very flexible with designs, ideas and budgets and we would definitely use them again. A pleasure to deal with.

We’ve used Carol as a valued resource for years, and have found her to be creative, insightful, and respectful of the budget guidelines we establish. The finished product is consistently beautiful, and something that has given us and our friends and family years of immense pleasure. On any rare ocassion things are delayed, the finished product has made it well worth it in the end.

Take your business elsewhere. Carol was disorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend working with her.
