This is Gluten-Free heaven! They have a wonderful variety of products as well as delicious baked goods, sandwiches & even pizza. I tried samples of the cardamon donut, French bread, & blueberry muffin which were all incredibly delicious with no weird after-flavor a that you sometimes get from GF products. Even though I was traveling through I had to get a pizza to go. I was NOT disappointed. I ordered a simple cheese & pepperoni pizza & it was like eating real pizza. My gluten-eating husband even loved it! ;-) This will now be a regular stop any time we travel to Newport.

Cute store with quite a few good options. The café/bakery provides a nice addition as well.

The Gluten-Free place is fantastic! Great service and terrific food to boot! It really helps people take the guesswork out of products when shopping. I just wish I had one of these shops in my hometown!

Fantastic bakery with a little tons of different choices. The owner served us herself. She indicated they have different specials several times a week. We tried the French bread, hamburger buns, cinnamon rolls, blueberry donuts and chocolate zucchini cake. All were very tasty. Wish we were there later in the day so we could’ve tried the gluten-free pizza, too.

Finally! A place where I can go and feel 100% safe. I found this gem on the coast while researching places that were safe to eat when visiting Newport. I was blown away at the immense selection of products they sell in the grocery section. They covered all the areas of indulgences so many of us have nearly thought were out of reach(some examples are fried chicken coatings, gravy mixes, and redvine alternatives). It’s a must stop for stocking up on all of one’s gluten-free needs. My largest joy came with the box of pastries I purchased. I had a maple bacon donut for the first time in 8 years! I took my box of gluten-free gems down to the ocean view to enjoy them and they were all delicious. Thank you for opening such a great place.

This place is Awesometacular! I wish we had one in my city! Great store with friendly staff and a large selection of gluten free– and even dairy free items! Looks are deceiving because from the outside it looks small but they really do pack a lot of items in there! They also have a little bakery area in addition to the dry food and freezer foods. The bakery had a delicious array of sweet and savory items. Whenever my husband and I go to Newport this is our go to place for food!

Friendly staff and really cool selection of products in the store. The freshly baked goods in the back counter were a bit scarce toward the end of the day but in the morning there was a wide selection of scones, cookies, mini loafs and a couple donut varieties. Several types of the cookies, the lemon blueberry loaf and the tarragon donuts were delicious! The prices were a bit high but I love these small gluten free bakeries.

The Gluten Free Place is a great addition to this area of the coast. A perfect place to stop for gluten free essentials, lunch or a treat(or five). They have a lot of products I have never seen before including snacks, baking mixes and cooking products like pasta and sauces. In the back of the store they have an open bakery area where they showcase all of the day’s treats. For lunch I had the Beverly on their homemade bread which was like a hoagie. The bread was great although I only needed half of it and saved the rest for later. I also sampled several baked goods including the coconut donuts(yum!) Everything is labeled dairy, egg, etc. free in case you have other allergies or sensitivities besides gluten. The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because I thought the service was slightly terse and not especially warm but all of my questions were answered as needed.

I was blown away when I happened upon this place! A small space, but with EVERYTHING you need! Snacks for the roadtrip? Check! Baking essentials? Check! Frozen goodies? Check! They have a bakery in the back of the store offering a wide selection of delicious treats– try the lemon blueberry loaf and the chocolate chip cookie! delicious! I’ve never tasted gluten free goodies so far away from the all-too-common cardboardy taste. This store has something for everybody with a lot of hard to find products and it really caters to every sort of dietary need– plus, the friendly staff is happy to help you with that to make sure! The selection in the store is hand-picked very well and offers the best in every category. Plus there is fresh to order pizza and sandwiches! Ya, you heard me. You really can’t go wrong :)

We were so excited to stumble across this place. We had scoped out our gf options before heading into town and didn’t find any info on this place. Luckily we passed a bill board on the highway and we found this gem. If you are gf then this place is awesome! When you walk in, you walk right in to the market section of the store. It is full of gf products that I even have a hard time finding in Portland: gf licorice, buckwheat noodles, gf graham crackers, gf lasagna noodles and then all the regular stuff too like snacks, noodles, gf flour etc. Then at the back of the store is the bakery/café. They have a case of baked goods: donuts, cookies, bars, cake, french bread, focaccia bread, and other yummy goodies. They have samples of a lot of things out and the owner is very helpful in her knowledge of the products. The French bread is just like I remember french bread tasting and the texture was spot on. Most of the baked goods are gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free. She has a blackboard next to the case detailing what potential allergens might be included(e.g. if a dessert includes dairy). They use that french bread for sandwiches in the café. They also offer avariety of pizzas. We didn’t get any food from the café so I can’t tell you personally how it is but my guess is that it’s yummy just based on the fact that the bread is so good and that’s a big part of a yummy sandwich. In addition to the gf products they also have a case with all kinds of cheeses fit different diets: cashew and Daiya cheese for example. Great selection, delicious baked goods, great customer service so I highly recommend stopping by!

The bakery goodies are absolutely fantastic! I am already addicted to the mini-scones. The selection varies – almond, blueberry, lavender, ginger, etc. Two days ago I tried the White Chocolate Cheesecake. YES, I recommend it heartily! It is a «personal dessert» size, or, if you are not a selfish person such as myself, you could cut it in half and share with a friend.(Maybe next time …) The Gluten Free Place is not only a bakery, it’s a store, with all kinds of products. Luckily for me I can eat some gluten, but I avoid regular wheat. It’s wonderful to go into a store and know that it’s safe for you. This place is an oasis, and it’s right on 101 as you go through Newport.
