I am a huge fan. I’ve had the noodle bowl three times and it has been really delicious(also, it is always just the right temp when it comes out — does not burn my mouth but nice and hot on a cold ski day). I love that this place is a little calm oasis from the rest of the writhing mass of humanity that is the South Ridge lodge, so if you are lucky enough to be able to sit and eat in their little«area», do it(I often have to return to my family back in the Writhing Mass). Also, the guys who work there are so friendly and nice. The cashier(manager? unclear) could not be mellower even when there are a zillion skiers demanding sushi and noodles from him(although to be fair, SR skiers as a whole tend to be pretty easygoing)… regardless, no matter how busy it is, he is calm and cool and everything runs efficiently and comes out in a timely manner. I generally never want to leave the slopes even to eat, but now dreams of the Cho Sun noodle bowl(and a Sapporo) can lure me away. .. TRYIT!!!

Best sushi ever! I live in boston, and I find it disturbing that I find more amazing sushi up in the mountains of Maine than I do at most places around the city. Scott, the chef and owner, is a very talented sushi chef; and his wife, who also waits tables there, is very sweet. My husband and I always get the Mul Mondoo soup, which is amazing and big enough for two, with some sushi. We crave this place! Definitely a go to for us every time we are in town!(The quality of food is way better than their neighbors.) Prices are higher than your typical bar, but the money is in the quality of food. We highly recommend this place.

This place is a great alternative to burgers. It is very small, a few stools and a counter. The staff is very attentive and knowledgable about the menu. I didn’t know the difference between some noodles the waitress explained it to me. The sushi is fresh and the noodle bowls are big enough to share. The pries are a little high but the quality makes up for it. Have been there a few times and always enjoy it.
