It was average for mexican food, the onions in the beef were raw not cooked with the meat. The salsa wasn’t that good. I would rather go to salsitas or el jalapeño in niles.

It’s your typical Mexican-​American restaurant wouldn’t call it authentic Mexican, the queso dip was runny, the burritos were really small ! The service was okay, I’ve had better. The reason it gets 3 stars is because of the area it’s located in. It’s the best around here but if your looking for really good authentic Mexican go to el jalapeño in Niles, OH.

Mi Amigo has wonderful Mexican food. The chips were fresh and the salsa was tasty. My favorite dish there is the Posadas Special. It is chorizo and steak on a small grill with fresh onions and cilantro. EXCELLENT !!! The service is so friendly. The atmosphere is very homey and comfortable. Mario (the owner) makes you feel so welcome, as if he were waiting just for you to arrive. AWESOME PLACE… give it a try !!!

If you are looking for good, authentic, Mexican food, this place is it! Family owned and operated, this is NOT ANOTHER CHAIN restaurant! Extensive menu and fresh chips and homemade salsa and guacamole! Prices are good. Presentation excellent. Margaritas are very good! If you haven’t been there yet, please give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Delicioso! It’s a hit in Newton Falls!
