My husband and I were referred to Paul Cottone by a friend. As first time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and were anxious about the process, but from our first conversation with Paul, we were reassured that the process would be painless.
We were moving from out of state and Pail began day 1 to make our move easy. He immediately set us up to receive listings by email. He had regular calls with us to narrow down what we liked and what we didn’t like. The listings became more specific over time, thanks to this process. Paul took our parents to see places, while we coordinated our love from afar. We ended up moving to the Boston area and continued looking for our home. Paul spent every weekend with us for 5 months. He met is during our lunch breaks and after work. It was clear he had great work ethic, but over time, we truly appreciated the extras Pail gave us. He knew the towns and neighborhoods well, acted as our inspector and designer. He really worked hard to ensure we ended up with a home we loved and was in great condition. Eventually, Paul took us out of our comfort zone and showed us a house he thought we’d love – and he was right! We’ve been here for 3 years and love our house.
Paul was with us every step along the way and made this experience easy – he knows his stuff!
As we are in the process of reappraising our house now, he is helping us still.
We will be using him in the future, no doubt, and will recommend him to anyone looking for a home. Thanks, Paul!

I am also confused why Paul received negative reviews. It sounds like these individuals are being unrealistic. Paul was nothing short of spectacular, he put a lot of effort in educating my wife and I. The knowledge that I gained from Paul became very helpful. There were several houses that most real estate agents would have pushed on me but Paul talked me out of putting in an offer. There are not many agents out there willing to give up a commission for the sake of their client. Paul was also extremely flexible with his schedule, he would drop his personal arrangements on a dime to meet us at an open house. I would highly recommend Paul whether you are buying or selling.

I’m really not sure why the reviews for Paul are so negative. We hired Paul as a buyers agent to help us find a place in the Boston area on a limited budget, so he had his work cut out!
He truly went above and beyond what we expected of an agent, even driving us to open houses, and once there he had done extensive research on the property and surrounding areas. He also knew all the right questions to ask, as we didn’t have a clue!
It took us a few months to find the right place but he was incredibly patient, so helpful and we could tell that be wanted to find the perfect place for us too.

Disappointment is a word that comes to mind. He made me feel like a serial killer, making me walk around in booties over my shoes at his open house. He made no effort in trying to sell this house and tried to downplay the ridiculous condo fee that only covered «street maintenance.» His overall tone was condescending and made me feel worthless. I never thought I’d leave an open house crying. I’m so glad I found another home with a kind, understanding realtor who accepted my diverse background.

This is actually a zero star review. I can’t get over how rude this realtor is. I felt because I was «different», he had no interest in me. It was such a beautiful home in a wonderful development. It’s unfortunate because I was very interested and very close to making an offer. But It’s NOT worth it to deal with Mr. Cottone. Too bad…

I would not feel comfortable using anyone else when buying a home. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and looks out for the best interests of his clients. He is not looking for a quick transaction. He truly wants to help you find a home that suits your needs in every way. He was great to work with.

Paul is a very knowledgeable, helpful and dedicated buyer agent who is truly on your side when you are shopping for a new home. I would recommend his services to first time and experienced home buyers alike. He helped me find my dream home.
