We like this theater, it’s great that they get most of the shows we want to watch– i say most because the last 2 horror films we wanted to see were not available here– we had to drive over 30 miles to the Warren in Wichita. The ticket prices here are FANTASTIC– im from California originally, and i didn’t even know you could have 2 people watch a movie ANYWHERE for under 12 bucks, but here its not just possible, its pretty much guaranteed! The theater is generally clean, cool but not cold, and concessions are fairly priced. The staff is mostly young people so the attitudes cant really be held against the theater, but they do tend to act like they would rather be anywhere other than at work.

Went to see«Joy» today. The ticket guy held the door open for us. Classy! I like how it’s built into a strip mall. Affordable snacks and the seats halfway recline! So comfortable!

I’m from Los Angeles but I was visiting Newton Kansas with a close family friend who had family back there. We wanted to see a movie in January. School was in for everyone except college students like me so I took the road trip trip with him. I came here and saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre and turns out I was the only person seeing the film! It was awesome because I had the entire theatre all too myself and no noise. It was very very cheap and the food was good. If I ever come back I will see matinée here again and hopefully it’s empty again! Loved it! One spotlight of my winter vacation. The movie was surprising not that bad.

Affordable entertainment is a way of describing this theater. Instead of paying 10 – 15 dollars a ticket and having to drive to Wichita, you can easily pay less than that to see the same movies here. If you’re a student, you get a student discount and only have to pay I believe 4.50−4.75 for a movie ticket. The theaters are stadium style seating and have HUGE leg room for your feet. This theater is about maximizing comfort and being affordable to any age group. I believe they only have 1 theater that has digital projection that can serve 3D movies. The only few cons is the walls aren’t as thick as they should be to block out the sound from the other theater. Also that it has a musty smell to it. This theater is good for any surrounding cities that don’t want to drive too far to watch the latest movies. I recommend it.
