Love this place! They definitely do not have that many drive in movie theaters around any more. Awesome place for date. You can relax in own car bring whatever snack or food you want and enjoy a good movie. We came here to watch the Martian which was only one showing per time slot but usually other time slots have two movies playing back to back. So usually you pay to see two movies for a price of one. Our movie was fairly long so that was the case. Popcorn and other snacks are also available for purchase as you choose, buy i advise to get your snacks before you get there.

Im a child of the 60’s and Drive in theaters were a regular of Summertime fun. Continental Drive-In is working to keep an Iconic part of American lifestyle still going! I like supporting local businesses, and I am thankful there’s a Drive-In still alive in the Dothan/Enterprise area. The staff is always friendly, the screens are wide and up super high so no matter which row you are in or which Monster truck you are behind, you can still see the movie! They have a snack bar and their french fries are awesome! The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is due to the ants that are everywhere on the grounds. This is really the fault of the lovely south and the massive red/black ants that call this humid paradise their home. This is the only drive-in Ive been to that is all grass. Plus after the rain there are some areas where a puddle sits for a few days and those pesky-on-steroids mosquitoes and annoying gnats will torment you. So regardless of the weather, i bring bug spray with me. MUST-Take list: 1) a drop-cloth to put your lawn chairs on if you will be sitting outside your vehicle. We put our chairs in the truck bed, up high away from things that crawl on feet lol. 2) your friends!!!

Great experience, awesome facility and staff. We drove over two hours to visit and now this will become a regular trip. Only recommendation is for the staff to reinforce the importance of keeping your headlights off…

I really wanted to visit this drive in when I first moved down here as I have never been to one before but I put it off as I was wary. I was expecting an organized crowded mass of cars, blasting radios, annoying headlights, limited view. However, I am happy to report that this is not the case! As soon as you pull into the theater, you can see everything is organized clearly. The ticket attendants are really informative, the directions are clear, parking spots are marked giving you a comfortable space for«private» enjoyment, concessions and bathrooms are close to the screens. Also, if you are worried about having a limited view of the screen if you have a smaller car, don’t fret! The parking spots are angled so that you have a perfect view of the screen with no obstruction. But if you prefer(and weather permits), you can always bring chairs and sit outside your vehicle. Prices at the concessions are reasonable/affordable which is so pleasantly surprising because this is usually not the case at the theaters! Bathrooms are right by concessions and are decently clean. As for tuning into the radio station, your car battery will probably last for at least one movie(You can watch both movies playing at your screen! Double feature!), but I think a lot of people worry about running out of juice so they start up their vehicles every 20 minutes or so… In order to not worry about that we bring our fantastic Bosch 360 boom box; we use it both when we are inside and outside of the car. I’ve heard from friends that own pickup trucks that, you can have a pretty sweet movie-viewing experience laying in the bed of your truck :)

Prior to living in Alabamy, I had never experienced that which is «drive-in» theaters. I thought these places last existed in the land of Grease: The Musical. My first experience went a little like this… — Holy Bananas! Only 5 bucks for a military ticket?! — oooh we can park wherever? — ooh I can manage my own volume? — YES! I can laugh at TWILIGHT and no one will kill me? — OMG I can totally bring my own alcohol, food, and drinks and eat as much as I want for a 1⁄3 of the price? — AHHH how do I turn off my daytime running lights??? — You mean I can stay here and watch the second movie, too!!! Anyways, I love this place. We take the pick-up trucks of friends and put out blankets and chairs; grab some food from Things and Wings(hard to beat 10 bucks for 25 NOBOs) for sharing. I like this place and will miss it. I will never pay for double-the-price tickets for a sit-in theater again if I don’t have to.

As a family we really love this place. Great prices and plenty of parking. The food is about the price you pay at the regular movies, but where else can you lay out and relax and watch 2 movies for less then the price of one? We go at least twice a month. The only complaint I have is the restrooms. They remind me of the restrooms from when you have indoor plumbing when camping. They could stand to have the cobwebs swept out from time to time, and be checked in between movies. They do tend to run out of paper towel, and almost every time we go One toilet does not flush. But hey its an out door theater. It’s fun and if that is the only problem then so be it.

This is one bright spot in a boring area. We moved here from fort Hood, where they have everything. So it was nice to find something everyone in my family enjoys doing. For $ 12 you, your spouse, and kids 3 and under can see TWO new movies from the comfort of your car. You can’t beat the prices, and it is nice to be outdoors. If you have lawn chairs bring them so you don’t have to be stuck inside your car the whole time.

You get two first run movies for $ 6 for adults. You can sit in your car or bring lawn chairs. The snack bar has a good variety of snacks including hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, ice cream, fries and nachos and candy. No external speakers to deal with. You simply set your car radio to the right station and you are all set. There are 4 screens, each with 2 movies. The also offer a military discount. The only negative that I have found is that sometimes the person running the movie doesn’t realize that the picture is fuzzy or the sound is not right. This is quickly fixed once brought to their attention, though.
