I went there the other day with my family there was about 8 of us and we were all looking to get new rc cars and a bunch of parts and chargers for it. But we had a few questions about things and the lady there was extremely rude to all of us. She was really nasty and ever question we asked she answered with a nasty remark like we were stupid. I will never go there again

Hey, they moved! Guess what, same negative crap attitude of the ownership. Not sure what makes this place tick or how they stay in business! I’ve never witnessed such grumpy people running something that should otherwise be a very fun place! You sell toys! Children want to play with the puppets! Get over it! You might want to consider a different career. Perhaps, you should consider being a distributor of senior care health items? Something that appeals to a less enthusiastic crowd might be more fitting for your less than welcoming business demeanor! Just say’n! PS: to ‘owner’s reply’ nothing much to say. I hate to be so negative with your business, but your attitude is just not one that lends itself to this type of store. I don’t go in your store actually. I buy direct from Horizon these days. Great attitudes and very helpful, plus I save money 9 times out of 10. I stopped in once in hopes the ownership changed, or at least the attitudes. FYI: Puppets are to play with. They aren’t boxed items. Kids pick them up and you scolding them and their parents is unprofessional and not acceptable. Put them in a showcase if you don’t want them handled. Also to note; my review is an opinion obviously, but my opinion is shared by many in local communities. Rather than make excuses, how about thinking of a more children friendly environment and a change in the way you present yourself. Why not create a puppet stage with puppets meant for play? Ever think you might want to embrace criticism and do something positive in response? Nah… guess not. Better to appeal to the teenage crowd w/Magic playing cards…

Sometimes it surprises me that these stores remain in business. Unless you’re looking for one of the handful of RC cars they have on hand, or parts for a Traxxas vehicle, you’re unlikely to find what you want here. Besides that, their prices range from slightly high to outrageous. I totally understand that they can’t compete with the online retailers, but I don’t expect to get ripped off either. As for their staff, most of them are nice and try to be helpful but don’t expect too much technical support. I have had at least two occasions where I was looking for a compatible servo for an RC car and was told they couldn’t help me unless I had a part number. Other local hobby shops have the knowledge to reach behind the counter and hand me exactly what I need without much fuss. Not this place. Heck, I had one occasion where I had to help another customer because a staff member was clueless. Also, while I don’t like to throw people under the bus, I completely understand where other reviewers are coming from about a certain staff member there.

Warning do not enter if you see an older woman working here. her name is Betsy and she is extremely rude! I don’t see how a person this nasty could work at this type of store. I will never go back here and I highly recommend taking a longer drive or ordering online as opposed to going here. In all my years I have never felt so insulted at any retail location. If this is who Hobby Town USA wants representing them I’d think twice before going to any of their locations. Just awful!

Very helpful staff will greet you at this cool shop with a little bit of everything for kids of all ages. From educational toys, to paint ball supplies, to train sets, rockets and r/c everything, this is the go-to place for hobby like things in the county. They do some pretty cool weekend events like Lego day. Never been for one of those, but it’s good to see them doing different things to generate some traffic.
