Johnny’s Pizza & Smokehouse

Just ordered from here for the first time. To be honest it was really good! I ordered a rack of ribs and it came with rice and beans. Huge portions and the food was fresh, which is a reality especially when ordering take out. The only down side was that the ribs were a little dry. Other than that, they had great flavor… and did I mention they have huge portions lol. Great meal!

Was not impressed by the pizza, but I am a pizza snob from NY. Also didn’t realize ahead of time, this is not the kind of place you want to sit down and eat at.

Food was hot however, delivery took 1hr 45min. a bit too long for my taste. Wings had a nice taste to them, calzone not so much.

Must get the steak and potatoes wrap. It is Ahmed steak with seasoned potatoes, cheese and sour cream. If you like spicy taste, u must add hot sauce when ordering.

Consistently good food, with delivery. Have been a customer for years. My favorites are the boneless tenders, steak and potato on a sub roll, and grilled chicken salad. Keep up the good work Johnny!

We have been eating at Johnnys for years. They are very nice people. The owners are husband and wife and are always there. It’s clean and the food is consistently fresh and delicious.
I love that they use romaine in the salads and wraps. No cheap iceberg, I can’t stand iceberg lettuce. The Greek wrap is my FAVORITE! Also the portobello mushroom wrap w balsamic. My son and bf always get buffalo chicken and love it.
The delivery is hot every time, this place is def worth checking out if you haven’t yet. Best quality lunch around!

They got the best buffalo chicken wings in town ! The place is really clean and the people are really friendly I really recommend you to order from this place is you are looking for some fresh and tasty food its the best place where you can get it from.

Oh man, I love this place! Work is right down the street so may be a little biased but Johnnies and crew have never failed to satisfy. Whether you’re in the mood for calzones, BBQ Roast Beef wrap, Cajun chicken pizza, make your own sub or whatever, you’ll get good food. There have been weeks where I’ve eaten here every day…
WARNING: their large calzones can induce a comatose state, enjoy with caution haha
But yeah, love the people too. Check it out for lunch, you won’t be disappointed

Ordered a Steak N Cheese… one word… horrible…dry…barely had any steak… sub roll was nasty… for the 8 bucks should of went to Carl‘s in Waltham. or even Russo‘s…stay away… well unless less you like crap food…

What I love about Johnny’s is the consistency, they are consistently good. It’s not gourmet food but I’ve never had a bad meal and my go-​to lunch is their salad (any) with grilled chicken, and they always cook it perfectly!

Tough love kinda guys but good hearted. The best boneless wings in the area and wraps. I live in the area and love ordering from them cheap prices and good quality food. Johnny’s the man tell em E sent me!

My boyfriend and I live right down the street from them and we order from here fairly often. I always get the vegetarian calzone & its the best I’ve ever had. My bf gets the buffalo chicken one and always loves it and he says the wings are fantastic, too. Always great and friendly service, always hot & delicious food, and always pretty quick. This place is definitely worth checking out.

Poor to mediocre first experience here. Ordered using eat24 via Unilocal and I’m not sure they pay much attention to their online orders since it took 1.5 hrs for delivery of food. We live 5 – 10 minute drive from this place. Driven by many times and decided to give it a go for their ribs and wings. Neither were that great. Ribs were chewy and didn’t have much flavor. Hot Buffalo Wings had texture and taste like they had been in the freezer for 5 years and then perhaps steamed in a rice cooker. Nothing hot about the wings. Lots of meat on the wings, but tasted off to us. Maybe we’ll give the smokehouse another chance, but not likely… Sorry.

Used to like the food from Johnnie’s. Have ordered pizza, chicken fingers, and fries on multiple occasions. The last time I ordered they lost my slip, and never made my food. When I called over an hour later looking for my food. The owner didn’t apologize. Complained to me about the number of orders he had. And then refused to give me a refund for the order. When I asked that the food be delivered quickly because it had been so late, he responded by saying he couldn’t do anything to expedite my order.
Won’t order ever again.

Very good roast beef sandwich. My daughter and I shared this, it’s was covered in cheese green peppers and sweet bbq sauce. Good bread and high quality.

I only tried the pizza but I didn’t really like it. I like a crispy crust but it should stay together… this one was coming apart. Also the cheese was a little too salty for me. The sauce had a nice fresh taste but it was spread on too thin. The people and the service was amazingly nice.

I cant believe i haven’t reviewed these guys before.
First, super nice people who own and work here. They aren’t the warmest but are very nice in general.
Next, menu is fantastic and portions are huge.
Pizza is super yummy. We only ever ordered wings and wraps here (their wings are amazing… boneless and bone in. i recommend the honey buffalo… their buffalo chicken wrap, salad, and sandwiches are amazing too… sandwich is MASSIVE), but we hadn’t tried their pizza until a few months ago… and YUM!
Crust is super good, we usually make a bacon, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza, or get pineapple and ham with bbq instead of marinara sauce. I also love the white pizza with mushrooms and pesto… SO good! I leave the diced tomatoes off though.
Really good.
Also, fast delivery.

Took almost an hour, on a weeknight, when I only live 5 minutes away. But, it was nice and hot when it arrived.
What we had:
Buffalo chicken pizza — Normal pizza and pizza sauce with hot buffalo chicken on top. Most times I get this type of pizza, others use buffalo sauce instead of pizza sauce. It was different, but very good.
Chicken parm sandwich — Nice big chicken pieces, not skimpy tenders, real white meat that was thick and tender. I could have used more sauce, and that would have been perfect. But, it was awesome.
Portobello mushroom wrap — Awesome! Big chunks of mushrooms, flavorful, would definitely order again.
Would have given 5 stars if it came quicker and maybe more sauce on the chicken parm and a little more kick to the buffalo pizza. But, I can’t really complain. Was a delicious meal.

Not a bad calzone but I feel like it didn’t taste quite as good as it looked. Buffalo chicken had a little bit different taste to it. I think I will go back to try the pizza, but it’s a tough situation with Max and Leo’s which is literally the best pizza I’ve ever had right around the corner.

I just got takeout pizza from Johnny’s last night. Pizza arrived promptly, smoking hot (we are right around the corner), and was AMAZING. Very fresh toppings, excellent cheese, and great crust. I love that you can get small size pizzas. My husband and I usually have to compromise on what we want, but we both got to get our own!
I also got a side salad (yeah, trying to be good) and was pleasantly surprised to find real lettuce, not dried out iceberg, crisp veggies and a delightful oil and vinegar dressing. Usually I pick the good bits out of salads and leave most of it, but I scarfed this whole thing down.
I’m definitely ordering from Johnny’s again and can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.
