Adam is wonderful and they ship so quickly. They are definitely the cheapest when it comes to union-​made shirts. I always buy from No Sweat!

No Sweat (
) is the only company whose complete line of clothing and footwear is sweatshop-​free and union-​made. American Apparel talks a good no-​sweat game, and their employees earn pretty decent wages, but the company itself discourages its employees from unionizing (as if it’s management’s decision), and AA’s CEO is an admitted sexual harasser.
No Sweat carries products made in the US and products made all over the world. When you buy from No Sweat, you know your money is going to a stand-​up company and that your clothes and shoes weren’t made in an oppressive setting. Can you say that about shopping anywhere else?
I’ve been buying sneakers and T-​shirts from No Sweat since they appeared, and I’ve had almost entirely positive experiences. The sneakers used to fall apart relatively quickly, but they fixed whatever problem there was, because my last two pairs have lasted a couple years each and are still going strong. They’re really personable when you have to return items for whatever reason, and they have clearance sales a couple times a year.
The way to encourage businesses like No Sweat to grow is to actually buy stuff from them. One word of caution: If you buy any of their T-​shirts made in Palestine, buy two sizes larger; these things are sized ridiculously small.
