Every time I ate here it was horrible! I’ve tried to go at different times to see if that mattered… it didn’t. Most of the time the rice or noodle dishes tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The fried dishes are always over cooked and dry. To top it off the staff are always yelling at each other in Chinese from across the restaurant. If you want GOOD Chinese go to China King less than a mile away!

The best Chinese in Newton. Stop in and get the best Buffet around. It’s obvious they are most capable at chicken dishes but everything else is also great.

Not a huge selection but the food is good. The service will depend on how busy they are. If they are busy you might as well get your own drink refill. They have recently raised their price so starting to get on the high side.

Excellent service and very nice selection of dishes. A very good Chinese Food Buffet.
Well worth it. If you are any point east of Des Moines Iowa, on I 80 stop here.

You will love this place. Great ChInese. Very reasonable. That’s about all I can say. Wide assortment of everything. Only better one is in Des Moines. Loved it!

For an Americanized Chinese food staple of a small-​ish town like Newton, this place tends to be a frequent stop for me. The service has never been shoddy and they do a pretty good job of keeping the buffet items fresh and restocked.
From the front, the place looks like it will be a small cramped little restaurant, but walk in the door and it’s actually rather large with 3 or 4 buffets ranging from the basic salad station and dessert station, to the all you can eat meat and veggie stations.
If you are in Newton and want cheap but good Chinese food that won’t run through your digestive system like most other take-​outs, stop in here.

I keep trying to find this kind of Chinese food in SoCal, but it isn’t there. This is a must visit restaurant when I come back to Newton. From peanut chicken to crab Rangoon its’ all good!
