The Bagel Bistro

Today will be the last time we get anything from this place. The employee who took the order (and messed it up) was extremely rude on the phone. When we picked up our food, the manager excused his employee’s attitude and behavior on the fact that they were busy. If you’re that busy, don’t answer the phone. Don’t worry about it… keep this up and you won’t be busy. All you need is a few people talking about this and you’ll be slow in no time. I’m only putting one star on this because you have to enter a rating to post your review.

Such wonderul service! Everyone greets you with a smile and nice greeting. This is a real neighborhood community place to have lunch. Bagels are fresh and a great variety to choose from. Oh, and also the grilled chicken wrap is awesome!

Inconsistent to say the least. Horrible bagels just for starters, and the rolls are even worse. service is good but irrelevant. do yourself a favor and drive 5 mins to a legitimate bagel shop. Bagel Station.

Went here on 10÷5÷13. My bagel was good, sesame with Cream Cheese. The only problem was that they only take cash and the ATM wasn’t working. The cashier was apologetic and we wrote a check, because they accept those. Be prepared for that.

This place is great! The BLT on an everything bagel is my go-​to and it’s delicious! The price isn’t too bad either. The service is always top-​notch. They’re very friendly and helpful

I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to come here but that’s about the only reason I’m not giving it 5-​stars. The best thing about this place is the consistency. They always get your order right, the food is very consistently good, and although they do get pretty decent traffic in there you never have to wait for them to take your order. Definitely my favorite place for a quick bagel or taylor ham and cheese in the area!

When working at Newton Hospital we would order from Bagel Bistro on a near daily basis– We NEVER had any complaints. The bagels are always fresh and of such great variety. Sandwich bread has also always been fresh. they make great paninis! just overall there isn’t one thing I can complain about.

I have been to bagel bistro many times and they have great service and great variety. Good coffee, many different kinds of bagels (even a whole wheat everything! Probably a good 15 different kinds…), lots of sandwiches — and all at good prices. Very convenient! Never a problem!

Easy there Will P. You went there what? Once? You caught them on a good day. The key to a good place to eat is consistency and the Bagel Bistro does not know the meaning of the word.
I have been to the Bagel Bistro a half dozen times since they opened and each time is a different experience. The first few months they were very good. In fact they rivaled Bagel Station down Rt. 15.
BUT, all good things get worse if the consistency falters. Today, for example, took my daughter in for a bagel and piece of crumb cake. Got about a mile down the road and discovered almost not butter on the bagel and the crumb cake was obviously several days old. Fortunately I had the time to go back and show them the lack of quality in the crumb cake. Hard top and stale bottom. The counter girl (Obviously high school help, was excellent in the way she handled the situation and was very apologetic. She showed the crumb cake to the m who refused to look me in the eye or ditch the obviously three-​day old crumb cake.
Sorry, I have tried the Bagel Bistro many times, and the quality of food is just too inconsistent.
Bagel Station — best in town CONSISTENTLY!!!

A great spot for a quick breakfast or lunch.
Excellent coffee, delicious bagels, good sandwiches, and a killer Taylor ham-egg-&-cheese. Also worth a look: the cider doughnuts, chocolate croissants, and the very friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended.
