Peacock Inn was a great surprise! We called when we were only an hour away and fortunately they had a room… in fact we were the only guests that night. Chef Terry met us and cooked a great breakfast the next morning. We met Dennis in the morning. The Peafowl room was very nice with spacious bath. The Inn is a working farm which makes it fun. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the peacocks… it was rainy. We would stay here again.

I attended a wedding here and found the Peacock Inn to be rather idyllic with its rustic simplicity, green pastures, horses, goats, chickens, dogs, and. .. peacocks. This inn also serves some of the best Southern food that I have ever eaten.
