This is a review specifically of Gene Hashkes.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Gene twice — once to purchase my home and then again when selling it. Without a doubt, Gene is the best real estate professional that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. His knowledge of the local area (Newton, MA in this case) is unbounded. He knew selling agents, real estate lawyers, local ordinances, trustworthy contractors, and anyone else you need to make the process smooth and reliable.
During the selling process, I saw Gene at his best. His plan for marketing the property obviously came from years of experience, which showed as he made right step after right step. Best of all, he had what I like to call «confidence without attitude.» He’s sure of his strategy, and he actually takes the time to explain it to you in a calm and reassuring way. No overselling or underselling — just honest and insightful feedback that makes you feel as though you’re walking with the best in the business. Does he have an unfair advantage in the real estate market? No, no one does — but he has the next best thing. A positivity that makes everyone want to work with him. You should as well.
In short: a wonderful person that just also happens to be the best real estate agent in town. Quite the combo, don’t you think?
