Fusion Workouts

I was hoping to give this place a try. I’ve worked out with Kettlebells at a different facility previously and found it to be a fantastic workout. When the BuyWithMe deal came out last weekend for this place, it seemed to be an incredible workout and I was looking forward to a new workout to incorporate into my routine.
In the fine print of the deal was the wording, «You must attend an orientation class prior to attending any other kettlebell classes.» Ok, I thought, that’s no problem. After looking at the online schedule and not seeing any orientation sessions listed, I emailed the owner to find out when these orientation sessions are offered. I got a prompt response saying «Saturday at 9:30 [April 9^th], want me to sign you up?» I wrote back saying that unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to attend on Saturday mornings and asked if there were any other times. She wrote back again saying the next orientation would be on Saturday, May 7^th at 9:30.
Really? One orientation session a month? An orientation that is REQUIRED before partaking in any of the other classes here? I emailed explaining that I wasn’t able to attend on Saturday mornings and asked if there was a chance that she’d add another session on a different day/​time. Best part here? No response. So, I will never get the chance to evaluate the workouts offered here… and I’m ok with that. In fact, there are tons of local businesses offering various fitness classes so I don’t feel like I’m missing out.
PS — it seems very odd that the only 3 prior reviews here (all 5 stars) were each written on consecutive dates…

I have been working out with Jen for a few years now and still take her classes 3 – 4 times a week. Her classes are fun and motivating and she always mixes it up. No two classes are ever the same, so you never get bored. Jen knows her stuff and stays on top of you during the entire workout letting you know if you have incorrect form, etc. She always has suggestions for modifications as well. The workouts aren’t easy but they keep you coming back for more!
