Doc Bresler’s Cavity Busters

Wish I could give them zero stars. After spending more time and money at this practice, I’ve come to the conclusion it’s nothing but a mill. They are messing with children’s teeth and health and drilling and doing unnecessary surgery at their very own surgery center. After being told to and having 4 of my daughter’s molars drilled and filled in a very short time period, I got very suspicious when 2 more cavities magically appeared. Mind you, she had just turned 4. The other 4 cavities were diagnosed when she was just 3 and apparently had been growing since she got her molars, but it took 3 dental visits to find them? Didn’t make any sense, but I trusted them and let them take care of it, thinking we were doing the right thing for our baby. But when 2 more were found, I decided not to go through with the procedure and to get a second opinion. I’m so glad we did. Bresler’s released my daughter’s xrays and records to the new dentist. We go for the visit with the new dentist, who has everything to gain by confirming the diagnosis, and lo and behold. No cavities! She could not find them on the xrays, by feeling for them, or by clinically searching for them. After we left her office, I was shaking with anger I was so angry and upset with Bresler’s. I have to wonder if the other cavities existed at all and my baby’s teeth were ruined unnecessarily. They were going to drill and fill perfectly healthy molars for NO REASON. Except there is a reason. I have COMMERCIAL insurance and they saw dollar signs. They are making big bucks on the mouths of CHILDREN and have no regard for ethics. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! These sentiments are echoed over and over again by other parents, so please heed the warning.
