Cork N Barrel

Hands down my favorite place to go for booze! My husband and I shop here on the regular. We don’t drink everything we buy right way, we like to keep a stocked liquor cabinet and fridge for regular guests.
Huge selection of everything and when they’re out of something, they order more!
They didn’t know they were out of a vodka I was looking for. Mainly because I bought the last 3 bottles the week before. But I let the owner know and sure enough, about a week and a half later there were at least 8 new bottles on the shelf!
Very friendly staff, and the owner is fabulous! One of the most personable package store owners I’ve ever encountered! Always asks how we are and to have a great night/​weekend. The girl who works the counter as well (Brittany, I think), she’s just as great!
Highly recommend this store if you’re in the area and looking for wine, beer or liquor!

Awesome selection on beer, wine and spirits!
The store is like a big warehouse of booze (It reminds me of the west coast chain — «Total Wine & More» which is heaven for drinkers). Tall shelves packed to the brim with booze. I found a lot of craft beer’s here including one I haven’t even seen in California (the watermelon Ale, I bought it, it was okay). They had a lot of wines, and a very large walk in beer fridge (they also keep the sparking wines and champagnes and just cold wines in there as well). They also have a very long aisle brimming with hard alcohol. I spend a good amount of time taking in all the vodkas (I’m trying to find Snozberry vodka, i’ve had it before so I know it exists!). They had impressive selection!
The prices were competitive with what I’m used to. The guy working the register was friendly and efficient. This has just become my new favorite store in Newtown.
