Quest Diagnostics

Quest Diagnostics has been operating in the Village of Newtown for several years, but has not yet made it to Unilocal.
I go their as part of my routine health maintenance; getting blood and other lab work done prior to my annual physical examination. It is convenient for those in the community, and the technicians do their jobs efficiently and with cordiality. My arteries are difficult to find when blood is to be drawn, and the phlebotomists often have to go hunting with a thin, flexible needle before they locate a source for my fluids to flow into a vial. While I don’t have White Coat Syndrome, I make these folks work.
It is easier to get the lab work done before seeing the doctor, and the results are obtained faster, than having the doctor’s office staff get the samples and then send them out to a lab for testing and analysis.
It is not really possible to be a fan of a place like this, let alone think that it is a great experience. 3 Stars will have to do.

This location is better than any of the others I have been to. The phlebotomists are more pleasant and never have an issue getting my blood or being patient since I am a real scaredy cat. It’s also impeccably clean. The only reason for one lost star is this location is not open on weekends and I have to trek up by the mall for a weekend test. With the amount of people in Newtown they really should consider being open weekends.
