Best Western Summit Inn

The hotel itself is clean. Breakfast was ok; nothing special. The only hot items are packaged Quaker oatmeal, waffles (you make your own waffles) and sausages. Only hard boiled eggs. Thankfully there’s breakfast restaurants in the area.
There was an immediate problem upon check in with the reservation. The staff was not friendly and unhelpful. A call to the corporate office and the matter was settled.
The first night we stayed, my sister had an issue with the pillows. She was having some type of minor skin/​allergic reaction, no biggie. She asked the front desk for hypoallergenic pillows and they had none. They were not kind to her and unhelpful. She asked two separate workers the next day for non feather pillows and again, they were all unhelpful. Thankfully there’s a Walmart near by, but she had to buy her pillows for the rest of the stay.
We avoided the front desk staff for the remainder of the stay because they seemed to be inconvenienced by our questions and again, we’re not helpful. I would not recommend this hotel simply for the unkind staff. You’re in the hospitality business… maybe you should think about being more hospitable.
I updated my review to include one more star bc I left my keys at the hotel and they overnighted them to me. I paid for it of course, but thought that was nice of them. I also wanted to be fair.

On last may, we stay for one night (I totally forgot to give a review at that time) it’s really good hotel. Clean rooms (we booked 2 different room), clean lobby, hallway and the breakfast area too (there’s a lot of food to choose inside the breakfast area). Nice & helpful staff.

The first night my husband and I were there was great. The rooms were clean, bathroom included. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. Waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, all the coffee you could want… The next night there were guests running around and screaming until well after one am. I was a little disappointed in the lack of supervision from the night crew. Also the pool had two different signs, one saying closed at 10pm, one saying closed at 9pm. Overall these little things are something I could look past because the rest of our two night stay was wonderful. The hotel was also located close to shops, shopping malls, and several places to eat.

Clean hotel with great amenities and at a reasonable price.
Well done! I’ve stayed there a couple times now and would again in a heartbeat.

Modern rooms, great service, includes free breakfast buffet and free business center and fitness center. Everything is clean. Pool is great.
What could be better. Just a great place to be, and better than most of the other hotels in the Falls!

This hotel was clean, comfortable. Personnel are very helpful and friendly. Room 221 has two queen beds that you can get a good nights sleeps. Very nice comforters and pillows. The room was clean including the bathroom and quiet.
Didn’t like the ceiling of the room. The ceiling showed leaks along the windows and the taping of the sheet rock was very visible and considering the cost should of been a lot better.
The price of the inn should of reflected a much better Breakfast.
Needed to go down the street to Starbucks for coffee.
Inn is 20 – 15 min away from falls and state park. A good thing, not as crowded of an area.

Everything you would expect a Best Western to be! Super clean rooms, friendly staff, decent hot FREE breakfast, and a great price. Pool is clean, nice gym facility and they even have a family game area. The best part? Their manager Christina. Simply put, she is AMAZING!!! She was friendly, helpful, made good local recommendations for dining, and made us laugh! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Got our room through a Hotwire reservation. We were given room 115 with two double beds. Room is clean, quiet, recently updated and modernized with nice details.
Much better room than the Ramada Inn Cortlandt we stayed in last night.

Very nice accommodations for the price. Pool, free WiFi, cable TV, free breakfast. Staff was not up to the friendly standard that I have come to expect from Best Western hotels. Not unfriendly though. 10 – 15 minute drive from the Falls.

I liked this Best Western Summit Inn. The down side was no elevator, but they were in the process of installation. The staff were downright friendly. It was cleaner than several we stayed at. I felt safe & comfortable. The breakfast had plenty to choose from & I never left hungry. The parking & location was close to the falls. There’s a Bob Evans Restaurant close to route 190 that you should try. Yummy.

Let me start with the good, some remodeling has been done to this pretty old hotel. Nice pillows, decent breakfast choices.
Carpeting definitely needs replacing the building smells and I’m pretty sure it’s due to carpeting getting wet and not dry enough. Overall I slept well but would never recommend this location.

Clean rooms and public areas, comfortable beds, decent tv, indoor pool and gym for cardio both look very nice. Free breakfast with scrambles eggs, breads to toast. waddle-​making stations and cereal. Can’t go wrong for $ 100 in NF area especially considering the nightmares described by others staying at reputable national chains.

we’ve been to best western properties throughout the US, and one in canada. the properties in the US range from poor to mediocre to excellent, as you may expect.
room was ready for us (a big deal we’ve learned) and clean. housekeeping was quick and thorough. check in and check out was efficient.
this property is excellent! the service and attention is beyond complaint. the breakfast offerings are wonderful. the food items are replenished BEfore they begin to run low.

Just stayed here on a last minute falls stop on family road trip. While the falls was nice to see, this City seems to be in decline. Lots of disrepair & vacant properties on way to hotel. Staff was ok, room ok & we didn’t stay long enough to use pool & were up & gone well before the free breakfast opened so can’t comment.

Beware of bed bugs…
We stayed here during our trip to Niagara Falls. The hotel is supposed to be renovated but when we entered, nothing seems to be renovated. The room was very small and the worst thing is the next morning, we felt so much bed bug bites.
For the price we paid, it is not at all worth.
