Chili’s Grill & Bar

Being a large chain I’m of the opinion that you either like the food or not, as there is never much variance between one store and another. So that being said, when I go to a large chain I focus mostly on how good or bad the service is. On Wednesday 1÷13÷16 I visited this location with my son. I was very happy with how pleasant the server was that we had, and all the wait staff for that matter were wonderful. The manager, Orlando, even stopped by my table to see how our visit to the restaurant was. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Very mediocre food and mediocre service. If it looks slightly busy go somewhere else because it’s not worth waiting for your food.

I wish I had the option to give zero stars… After standing around at the entrance of this restaurant for 10 minutes, a staff member approached us and told us to sit at any booth at the bar. All of the booths were dirty so we chose the one least covered in food. After waiting another 10 minutes someone finally came to take our drink order. The restaurant was not even busy, but our server sat around the bar laughing and joking with some other patrons. We saw another table sit down, get drinks and take their lunch order (with the girl who was supposed to be serving our table!) before we got so frustrated we had to leave. The service was awful… Definitely would not recommend this location if you want good food and good service.

Took 20 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order or even introduce herself then another 40 minutes for our meals. They were not very busy and had lots of staff walking around. My corn was still frozen and they served us the wrong food. Plus they removed a few things from the menu that we tried a few months ago and was part of the reason we came back. Horrible experience and will never be going back. The staff consisted of mainly young 20 somethings and noone seemed to know what they were doing. The manager walked around aimlessly. Seriously needs some work.

Me and my friends have been here several times when we came today we got in time for happy hour got the margarita flat bread and their summer time lemonade. Service was quick and efficient. Will come back

If this place were a chocolate factory, it would be called Chili Wonkas. If the chocolate factory made only white chocolate, it would be called Chili Vanilli’s. (that was for Fox E. Or has he done this one already ?) ;)

Came here for dinner tonight. We arrived at 7.15pm and lots of diners were beginning to leave. The food that we ordered was quite good. We got onion rings, chilli, steak, fajitas and baby back ribs. The food was all hot and delicious. There’s an interactive screen on each table that takes orders and you can pay the bill on it too. Place doesn’t have wifi but the kids can play games at the table on the interactive screen.
Service was adequate. They have some specials on too. Today was a whole rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and broccoli for only $ 13,99.
Would definitely come back again and would recommend eating here, if shopping at the nearby shopping malls. The food court at the Premium Outlet mall is crap.

went there on my son’s recommendation, while we went shopping at Fashion Outlets in Niagara falls, NY and were not disappointed to eat light dinner of Margherita Flatbread & Margarita Fresh Mex Bowl (w/​o any meat) between the three of us costing about $ 20. Something that we admired there was a small touch screen mounted on a stand with a built in printer on every table, where we can place our order and in the end, printed the bill too.

We went to Chili’s on Military Rd in Niagara Falls for dinner on New Years a Day. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad which usually comes with bacon but I asked for no bacon… It arrived very quickly and after two bites, I found myself with a mouth full of chewy gooey bacon… I looked over the salad and saw many other pieces of bacon… I called the waitress over and she quickly removed it from the table. Literally two minutes later she brought back the same dish with the same bacon and practically threw it on the table and said «he promised there is no bacon»” as she was walking away I said this IS bacon. She said its chicken skin!!! I told her I didn’t want it… The manager came to the table to tell us she’s taking the salad off the bill and if I wanted something else. I declined… i completely lost my appetite after the rude service I received. The waitress did come over and apologize.
We will not go back to that location.

While I don’t frequent chain food redtaurants occasionally we try again. The food was good, hot and came out quickly. Service was absolutely terrible. From start to finish we were ignored. Had to chase down a hostess to get silverware when we were checked on we asked for a refill and extra napkins which we received after finishing our food paying the bill and putting on coats to leave.

Chili’s in Vaughn, Ontario (Canada) was a disappointment. My girlfriend loves eating here when she comes shopping at the nearby outlets. I visited this restaurant twice and the food on both occasions was delicious. On our first visit we saw this small touch screen device on our table and started to play games while we waited for our food. We did not know and we’re not told that there was a fee to play games. The fee was added to our final tab. I won’t complain over $ 2 but a heads up from the staff would have been nice. In light of this, we used this small machine to pay our food without even telling our waitress, it had a swipe option for my credit card which was very convenient. On our second visit, we were told about the game price before sitting down. We had a great waitress and the food were both great.
Recommendations: Turkey avocado sandwich, make your own Fajita!

Very disappointing visit –server was so slow to come by, slow to take orders, food slow to come out, drinks slow to be delivered everything was either like warm or had been sitting so long-​food crusts had developed. We flagged down the manager finally after waiting 15 minutes for waters for the kids. The only thing the server was fast about was bringing us the check and slow to come back to get it. The manager came by at the end to check in after we flagged him done but at that point we had paid and just wanted to get out of there. It was a Saturday night but there was no wait so not sure why so slllloooowww. I feel aged :-D

Get the two for twenty! You get chips and guac with unlined chips and salsa, and then u and ur partner get to choose from selected items, but the selection is big and very good. I recommend the margarita chicken or fajitas both great!

It should really just be a pepper store. Like, serving Habaneros and Jalapenos and Serranos. Then I might actually give it some credit.
OK so I will admit I like the Molten Lava Cake. And I will admit that endless bottomless warm nachos and salsa are a great way to bring in the crowds. But every time I bite into a dish at Chili’s I feel nothing but… I dunno… indifference. The food is just so unspeakably bland and unseasoned… maybe that’s why people like it? When I had a less sophisticated palette I thought their Monterey Chicken was good. Boy was I a fool. I’ve had real southwest food since then and I just can’t stand Chili’s. My friend Justine let me finish off her chicken from here last night and it hasn’t changed a bit, unless it’s become even more bland… I couldn’t tell. I was starving and didn’t even finish it.

Chili’s has a great deal where two can dine for $ 20.00. The offer includes one appetizer and two entreés.
We started with the fried cheese sticks which came with a marinara dipping sauce. Delish! You really can’t go wrong with fried cheese. I mean, c’mon, it’s cheese and it’s fried. Right?
For our entreés, we both opted for the 6oz sirloin — his from the regular menu, mine from the ‘lighter choice’ menu.
His steak tasted as though it has been pan seared in butter and was served with loaded mash potatoes, broccoli and garlic bread. Mine was prepared with a dry rub, which was quite spicy and has almost an Indian flavour to it and was served with just broccoli. After indulging in the fried cheese sticks, I figured I could do without the loaded mash.
My steak was prepared perfectly although my husband’s was a tad over cooked but both dishes were great for the price.
The service was friendly and really quick. I’d definitely come back to this location if I was in the area.

I don’t know why I tempt fate at chains like this. They are not good. I agree with the reviewer who said he was ignored. We walked in and the manager was standing there talking to someone. When there was a break in the convo, there was no «hi folks, we’ll be right with you» we were just ignored. Finally a waitress came up and sat us. She was pleasant, thank goodness.
We ordered lunch combos. I got chicken enchilada soup and quesadillas. The soup was soooooooo salty and I’ve been burping it’s taste all day. The quesadilla was meh. Ranch dressing had a small hair in it. Picked it out, and then I was done eating.
I was just left with a bad taste in my mouth. I tasted the chili and it was potent. Too strong of a taste and SALTY.
The only saving grace of the meal was the tostadas and salsa. I LOVE the thin and crispy chips.
Otherwise, I just need to wipe this chain out of my brain. Pretend it doesn’t exist no matter how hangry I am. When we pulled into the parking lot, I said out loud «I’m so hungry I could eat at Chili’s». Hahaha! If that didn’t say it all…

Love the value meals that they offer: 2 for $ 20. The menu offer an adequate choice of selection and a $ 5.00 margarita.
The staff is always friendly and was impressed the chef went around the restaurant to make sure that everything was ok. Basic chain food but it came out hot and that was greatly appeciated

I haven’t been ignored so much… not even by my wife!
I have been to this restaurant twice and was ignored both times. The first time, we had to call the manager who apologized profusely and attended to us personally. Thanks to this and the urging of my children, I went back a second time. I had no expectations but I think they could have done a million things better.
I had an awful experience the second time. This time was absolutely worse. I was seated very promptly and got the children’s menus quickly but no one bothered to tell us that the adult menus were on the tables.
We then had to wait 20 minutes before WE had to approach the hostess who seated us to advise her that no one had come to us. Shortly afterwards, a waitress came and advised us that she thought the other waitress was seeing to us and vice versa.
Being put off by being ignored, we tried to bring this to the attention of the manager on duty like last time BUT he was avoiding us. He was the same manager from last time, and he had better things to do than attend to his customers.
No specials were explained, had we known, we would have changed what we ordered. On the way out, we noticed that there was trash on a stool that no one bothered to clean up. We probably won’t go to one of your restaurants again.
We weren’t even told of the customer survey when we left.

Not good. We were getting desperate because it was about 9pm and the only thing left open on this side of the Can-​Am border was chains like this one. Won’t go again. The food was only so so. The guacamole was the best part of the meal. Now I know it’s not worth going back. The only good thing was it was 2 for 1 draft night and they had Sam Adams on tap. Still not enough to make me ever go back.

I had some pretty low expectations, being that this is a chain restaurant, but it was actually not bad.
The service was pretty good, with our food coming on time, and the server filling up our waters before we could finish them. The chef also came around the restaurant to ask how everyone’s meal was. It was a nice touch.
The food was what you would expect. We had some meal deal that included two entrees and an appetizer for $ 20, which was pretty great. We had the chicken tacos and shrimp tacos. The chicken tacos were okay, and were covered with sliced up tortilla chips, which was weird. The shrimp tacos were breaded and cooked just right. They came with a honey garlic sauce that seemed out of place.
Our appetizer was really light and crispy tortilla chips with a fresh pico de gallo and a grilled corn guacamole, which had a bit of a bitter taste, but was otherwise good.
They also had a two for one draft beer deal, with beers at $ 5 a pint, but we couldn’t partake since we were driving home that night.
I might go back again just for a quick snack and a beer. It’s nothing special, but it’s not horrible, either.
