Fichte Endl & Elmer Eyecare

Last November, I had cataract surgery performed on my left eye by another ophthalmologist. I should have listened to my friends and visited Drs. Fichte, Endl and Elmer the first time. I developed a not uncommon condition called PCO, in which the capsule holding the new lens in place becomes cloudy. I went to Dr Endl to have this condition remedied. He used what is called a YAG laser. The procedure took less than two minutes, with an excellent outcome (and NO pain). I was lucky to get in to see him as early as I did. Someone had cancelled, otherwise I would be waiting in to next year to see the doctor. This is a high volume practice with other opthamologists, doctors of optometry as well as opticians. In addition to diseases of the eye, they also do routine eye exams and have a large selection of eyeglass frames. I do believe this practice is the most popular and well liked in the area. Highly recommend. Their opthamology technicians are very well trained.
