This is definitely not a «Welcome» Center as stated in the name, If anything, it should be the«Niagara Embarrassment Center». I can’t believe it! All of the rip-offs packed into one! This center mainly caters to tour groups such as mine. —Food Court— This is food right? The International Food Court contains foods of many cultures such as American, Chinese, and Indian. First was the price. One burger and one plate of food cost ~$ 15 each. Crazy huh? «Why did you eat here?» you may ask. It’s located in the American side of Niagara Falls, with Hard Rock being the only logical option. Why didn’t I go to Hard Rock? The line was too long. —The«Entertainment”— After being misled by an advertisement paper issued by my tour provider, I was pushed(Along with my $ 20 ticket) into a makeshift(ghetto) theater with a show entitled«Thundering Waters: Indian Dance». It’s located on the second floor near the«Made in America» store. You could take a severely over-crowded escalator or the dirty elevator. Your choice. Sounds legit. Once the show started, the initial reaction was«What the hell?» With mostly Chinese tourists in the room, wouldn’t it make sense to have translations? No. It’s as if they intended to trick those poor tourists into thinking this was a real Indian dance show. The show itself was hardly interesting. Though I’m not a Native American expert, I can tell that jumping around the pallet stage to the sound of drums isn’t traditional. I could be wrong though. The«Fire Dance» however, had me on the edge of my seat.(Because the chairs were so cheap). By the way, commentating lady, I don’t think the Aztecs and the Native Americans were in the same country.(Time to retake that geography course!) To keep it short, please don’t spend your hard earned money on this dingy tourist trap. Be smart.

This souvenir shop and parking are ALL incredibly overpriced, and the store smells really weird. Go to the Souvenir shop next to the Wax Museum on Prospect Street. Prices are lower, quality is better.

When traveling to Niagara Falls we parked at One Niagara before walking to the falls. The cost to park here was $ 5 which was half of the other lots. The«Welcome Center» itself had a variety of food choices and souvenirs. That being said, this building serves as a tourist trap to try and sell overpriced tour tickets and souvenirs. The staff here was lackluster and pushy, while the building itself was dirty and overcrowded. The bathrooms here were nasty and some other guests were complaining about the food quality. In the end not a bad place to park, but the other aspects of the center are terrible.
