Tailoring by Kim

Tailoring by Kim doesn’t even deserve one, single star! She is extremely dishonest. She ruined a $ 330 dollar pair of True Religion jeans, and refused to return them OR pay for them OR replace them. Where are they now… ebay? She was asked to do a Euro/​reattachment hem, and she decided she would «fashion» her own instead. STAY AWAY!!! ANd, she NEVER, EVER finishes in time. I have heard story, after story… be warned!!!

I have been to Kim’s a few times to have clothing altered and she has always done an excellent job. She is up front with you and tells it like it is. Today I went there to have the sleeves of one of my golf wind shirts cut down to ¾ sleeves. Instead of just excepting the item she looked it over very carefully and decided that what I wanted would not be good based upon the nylon material and its liner. She showed me what would happen if she did it and talked me into not having it done, so it was money out of her pocket. It may seem a little disorganized when you enter her business but she knows where each and every item is. I will be returning when I need sonething else altered.

Kim is so very hard to understand, but so very cute and good at what she does. I came up looking for her to take in a skort. It was a hard job because there were not any seams on it, just darts and it needed to be taken in a lot. She said to give her a week and I was a little nervous because I was moving to NYC in a few days and I wanted to wear it for the first day of my job. She assured me it would be ready, complimented me a thousand times on what I was wearing and sent me off with a biscotti. When I went it to pick it up she had it all ready and made me try it on and it was perfect!!! It was $ 18, but I expected it to be a little pricey because I know what a tough job it was going to be because the whole thing had to be taken apart. After complimenting me a my boyfriend on both of our outfits she sent us on our with with chocolate cow tail candy. She’s adorable.
