My friends and I recently stayed at the Sheraton at the Falls where this particular TGI Friday’s is located. We decided to stop in for a quick breakfast before heading out. We arrived at about 10:30 a.m. and were seated to a booth. I think at the time we were the only people in the restaurant. When the menu arrived, there was only about five items on it and it was very, very pricey. We were going to leave but, by that time, the server had already brought over the coffee. Nothing on the menu appealed to me so I tried to track down the server to ask about when lunch would be served. I waited and waited and waited … again, no other patrons in the restaurant. A couple of more groups of people began to arrive but still I could not get anyone’s attention. By that time, it was about 10:50 a.m. so I just walked over to some area of the restaurant where two of the servers were just hanging out. I inquired about lunch and was told by another very obnoxious and rude server that it would be 11:00 a.m. She was very hesitant to give me a menu but finally told me that I had to walk up to the hostess and get it myself. Seriously? Isn’t that your job? I left my friends there and waited in the lobby as there was no way I was giving them my business. My friends ended up taking their breakfasts away — toast was soggy and the portions were very small for $ 15+.

Expensive. $ 16.50 for a hamburger. Slow service. It’s more like an airport restaurant. Poorly designed and small. Skip this place.

I don’t know if it was because we were starving but this was honestly the best fridays I’ve ever eaten at. I had the steak and shrimp and my husband had the jack daniels sampler. My steak was cooked perfectly and unbelievably delicious. I definitely did not expect such a good meal from a fridays

The food is below the par of what I’d normally expect from a tgifridays. Service was«fine» for us. Extremely overpriced. I ordered the turkey burger which was like pressed deli meat made into a ½″ burger. The atmosphere, food and mood are In a state of lacking any«love». It’s like a gaggle of red booths and chairs were thrown in a pre-existing sports bar and it was called a tgiFriday’s with a grumpy staff. I found myself in a state of «I can’t wait to get out of here». Lastly, I learned about the«destination marketing fee» of 3% they add to each bill. If you asked to have it removed they will do so as it is a «voluntary fee» paid by mostly tourists. I found this hidden fee a real turn off as a tourist, and bit shady. If you visit Niagara Falls I recommend you see the falls and head out.

Poor service and disgusting food. We had kids chicken fingers and they were dry and hard to chew. We also had the ribs and shrimp and the ribs were bad. We waited 15 minutes for our waitress to completely ignore us, then the manager came over and had the nerve to tell us we were wrong that the ribs weren’t bad, YET a few minutes later said we were the 2nd table top send them back. The tables were nasty and sticky as well. Poor service, poor food and I will never go back to this location.

Really SHOULD be a 2 or 3 star review, but Manager Dana is AWESOME! Came here, today August 4,2015 around 7pm. Experience started out OK… parking is tough, and they don’t have a private parking lot(like I’m used to in most Massachusetts locations). Then we walked in and it took at least 10 minutes for the waiter to come to our table, also much longer than at any of the Massachusetts Friday’s locations I have been to(yet note, this restaurant is not company owned as all of the locations I have been to in Massachusetts are. This restaurant is owned by a franchise, therfore they are able to do a few different ‘twists’,). Next problems, Since I am in the Stripes program(a rewards program to get great free deals at Fridays), I get free chips & salsa every visit. Here they were extremely cold and not as fresh as other Fridays. AND everything on the menu was priced considerably higher than in Massachusetts. EX. I most recently visited the Taunton, MA location and got a ‘Classic Cheeseburger’ for $ 9.20. I came here to find the ‘Classic Cheeseburger’ was $ 13.20. That is a $ 4 difference. Now, the waiter was extremeley helpful and friendly, and fast, and made the experience great… but here comes the real annoying, uncomfortable problem with this restaurant: While the meals were coming by a man was walking throughout the restaurant, that was asking tables if they would buy him food… he looked terrible, and should not have been allowed into the establishment to ask other customers for food while they are trying to eat and not be bothered… this turned me off COMPLETELY… and another table next to me(which he also asked), I over heared said they«lost their appetite». Yet, at the end of my transaction, when 2 people in my party had already left due to their feelings about the recent turn-off, I saw the manager(later finding out her name is Dana… and by the way, she’s AWESOME!), and spoke with about this guy, who did not belong in the restaurant. Heck, while talking with her the guy came in AGAIN! She got him out and said she will not allow that and will just kick them out… so not her mistake, but she was very helpful and gave me a percentage off of my purchase, she was extremely sorry about it and assured me she will not let that EVER happen. Overall, the experience was 2 – 3 stars, but Manager Dana made it 4. Thanks Dana!

Went for the breakfast buffet. It was decent. What I expected for a breakfast buffet by Friday’s. Eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, juice, pastries, carving station, cereal, etc. Food was good. Mostly warm rather than hot but still good. Coffee was average. There are not many options in the area so considering, this is probably your best bet for breakfast unless you want something that’s not sit down.

Things started off well with a terrific greeting by the seating hostess and fast order taking by the server. One person had the buffet and the other an egg white omelet with onions and mushrooms. 30 mins later. Still no omelette and when it did arrive about 35 mins later it was wrong. AVOID! Try the Starbucks in be hotel. Might be a little faster.

Was staying at the Sheraton on the USA side of Niagara Falls. Not too much options for dining on this side. Hence in a sense forced to eat at TGI Friday. Took a long time for every thing. From the order to the meal to arrive at the table. Almost 40 minutes and waiting. Not a busy day, yet service is very slow.

The steak was burnt. I ordered a medium well. And when I asked the waitress why was it bitter and burnt she said because its close to well done. Is strak supposed to be bitter even when its a well done? The ribs is very sweet and the meat is kinda hard and thin. Mac and cheese was very dry and blend.

My family and I were spending a couple of days in Niagara Falls and staying in the Sheraton on the Falls. This TGI Fridays is part of the hotel and the only convenient place to eat. There are some Indian Places and pizza joints, but it was raining, cold out, and somewhat late so didn’t want to subject the kids to unmentionables lurking the streets next to a casino. So this TGIF has the worst Unilocal reviews I’ve seen at 1 ½ stars and was considering trekking the streets for an Indian place, but thought we’d pass by and see the sitch! So it was 95% full so we walked in, I mean how bad could it be right? Most of the reviews talk about how slow the service is and how long everyone waits for everything. We were seated right away, and asked for a booth which we promptly received, nice view, next to a big screen TV, awesome! Hostess gave us menus and told us our waitress would be right there. In 3 minutes the waitress named Abra came and introduced herself, took our drink orders, when she returned with the drinks, she took our apps order and gave us some info on Niagara Falls. We received our entrees relatively quickly. While the steak wasn’t very good, we were stuffed like four Turkeys on a Thursday afternoon! Bad stuff! For our apps plate, non of us got any plates so my son used his napkin to catch anything that fell, no water was offered, not enough napkins for buffalo wings! I’ll say that again, no napkins for Buffalo Wings or with the baby back ribs entrée! $ 20 for an app was pretty steep even for a TGIF. We waited a good while for our check, and we had empty glasses without any offer for refills! My daughters Mac and cheese was dropped on the floor by the waitress so they had to make another one so she had to eat ours until hers was made, a delay but stuff happens, we understand. Check was over $ 120 for two adults and two kids. Left 18% which was low for me, but given the cons, it was appropriate. In defense of the place, the service was good and not deserving of their reputation, maybe they’ve changed things around due to their lousy Unilocal. If so, good for them. I would go back.

I am extremely disappointed in this T.G.I.F restaurant. They were replacing their floor which meant that we had to sit in the back of the restaurant but they could have covered up the windows because we actually thought that they were closed. Moreover, there were only a few people in the restaurant around 7PM on a Wednesday night and we were greeted by a very prompt severer and she brought our food out to us quickly. However, my fries came out nearly cold and not edible as a result, I did not eat them and the three layer ruben was«very sorry tasting,» and I picked my way through that sandwich. In addition, we were siting at a table right next to their arcade machines which was loud and constantly going off in my ear. Finally, I was signing the bill to have it charged to my room since the Sheraton at the Falls hotel gave me a $ 20.00 voucher for the meal. I noticed on the bill that they charged me $ 1.38 for a «Dest Mktgchg». What on earth if this for, I am wondering if it is because we are eating on the boarder of USA/Canada as a result, they are charging us an additional charge on top of the very expensive charge for the meals and drink. I did not bother asking the waitress as she has little control over this but I was not happy and will not be returning here again.

This location has the, nowhere else to eat nearby in it’s favor. Most of the neighboring town is empty, you’re better off walking over to the very touristy side of Niagara Falls, ON side and grabbing something to eat(if you have time). The food was OK but I was really irritated that I had to wait 45 minutes for a glass of wine. I requested it with my meal, however, it FINALLY arrived, when I was 75% done with my meal. The manager did comp my appetizer(as it was the least expensive of my order), but more attention needs to be paid by the staff to ensure the customer’s needs are fully met.

This is by far the worst TGI Fridays I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately, there aren’t much options on the American side of the Niagara Falls(especially within walking distance when you are already at the Falls). We got the discovery pass on the American side, so we were on the American side the majority of the day. FYI — There are more and better food options on the Canadian side(if you are on the Canadian side, I highly recommend Syndicate Restaurant and Brewery — I also have a review for that). Upon walking in, we were not greeted by anyone for a while(the restaurant was dead too) and by the time the hostess got to us, she seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all. She pretty much just gave us the menus and we had to seat ourselves. We figured going to the bar was the best option because the restaurant was so dead. At least at the bar, there bartender will always be present and you won’t have to deal with hunting down for your server if you sit at a table. When I opened up the menu, I was bit shocked about their prices. I haven’t been to a TGI Fridays for a while, but the prices here definitely seemed higher than it would at a TGI Fridays in NJ. But I guess they can get away with doing this because they are right next to a huge tourist attraction. We tried to strike a conversation with the bartender since it was our first time being at the Falls and we were excited but he just seemed too jaded. Food came out at a reasonable time and the food was okay(we ordered burgers). Would I come here again? Probably not. The service was subpar and the food is expensive for a mediocre meal.

We received at $ 20 voucher for the breakfast buffet at this location that was in our hotel package. Apparently the buffet is open at 6:30am yet when we showed up at 7:30am, there was still nothing ready. Our only option was to order something directly from the menu. I opted for the egg white vegetable omelet and my husband, the scrambled eggs with home fries and bacon. Both dishes were served with toast and an assortment of fresh melon. The service was a little shoddy and we were left feeling like we were putting them out by being there but I will say, my omelet was fantastic and a heck-of-a-lot better than I ever expected! I don’t dine at TGI Friday’s often, in fact, I think I’ve only been twice and to different locations but this was experience was okay. The food was good, the restaurant was clean and the service was quick(albeit, not all that friendly). I did hear rumours that the casino across the street has a fantastic buffet for less money and comes with casino credits. I’m not sure if this is true but I will definitely check it out next time. If that’s not your thing then I would recommend coming here for breakfast. My omelet was deserving of a 4-star but all things considered, I will have to leave this restaurant at a 3-star.
