Staff and service had much to improve on… However… These donuts were the first I’ve ever had that haven’t made me sick. Seriously, EVERYTIME I have a donut, wherever it is, whatever donut I have, I feel nauseous. I don’t understand the rhyme or reason, but I was pleasantly surprised by this odd phenomenon ;)

This place just messed up an order that I literally had to repeat 6 times anyway and they STILL messed it up. It was a simple order of 1 sausage BELT and they gave me a bacon BELT. How after emphasizing what I what 6 times do you still mess it up? Not happy.

So, is this what heaven tastes like? Buy a variety pack of timbits! Get the maple flatbread! Die happy.

I’m not a fan of rating or reviewing large restaurant chains, but wanted to drop this as an exception. We’ve had this romantic idea of Tim Horton’s for awhile. We don’t have them around where we live(like In-n-Out burger and several others), so we’ve had some curiosity and anticipation about the donuts. On a recent road trip, we stopped into one of their storefronts in Niagara Falls NY. Bottom line is that they are not worth the hype or anticipation. Nothing spectacular about their donuts at all. They were kind of dry and somewhat flavorless, not to mention the selection is small and pretty weak. I’m not a fan of Dunkin Donuts either, but I’d definitely go there before hitting Horton’s again. We won’t be back.

I’ve never been fond of Tims coffee. No matter where I’ve bought it, there has always been an acidic after taste. It must be low quality beans. Although, during the summer months, their iced cappuccinos are quite refreshing and delectable. But, I tend to think if you add a ton of cream and sugar you can make anything taste good. Anyhow… One of the main items from their menu I have always bought and enjoyed are their peanut doughnuts. They starts off with a plain softly tender and pillowy doughnut, lightly coated in a vanilla glaze and GENEROUSLY covered in peanut chunks. Yum! Nothing like the other local shops that sell so-called peanut doughnuts, covered with peanut dust. Between 7 am to 9 am Monday thru Friday this particular Tims is INCREDIBLYBUSY!

Niagara Falls location. If the lights are all down low, then this place is known instead as «Dim Hortons», but since they’re usually not, it’s usually not. I went to this location to replace a lukewarm coffee I bought(not for me). It was not only lukewarm but old-tasting. If the coffee is made every 20 mins like it’s supposed to be, that would be literally impossible. I asked very nicely and apologetically, and got a real nasty attitude. I actually had to get a little pissy to get the coffee replaced. I was about to ask for a manager(not a manger, I’m not Jesus, honestly) when she gave in and gave it to me. The replacement coffee, I mean. I shouldn’t have to argue like that. I’m not trying to deceive anyone. They just put their prices up across the board for coffee but the service here isn’t matching the product. I will say though that they did eventually replace it and that the replacement tasted really good. However the aftertaste of the confrontation was significantly bitter. Edit: I got hate mail for posting this review, from some of the loyal customers, in fact I’ve been getting a lot of hate mail from Niagara Falls residents lately even though I love a lot of the food in NF and give it positive reviews. Idk why, I’ve never had this much hate mail for my Buffalo reviews. Something very territorial happening in NF. I mean, this isn’t even an American chain. It has nothing to do with NF other than taking business away from the local spots, and the employees were horrendously rude to me, order was wrong, spent ages arguing about it, so what am I supposed to do? Lie and say it’s great?

Wow! All I can say is WOW! If you know me I’m a coffee shop connoisseur. The minute we pulled up all I thought was how it measured up to Starbucks. Tim Horton’s is the Starbucks of Niagara Falls. I was blown away from their menu. So many o-so-delicious sandwiches! I ordered the bacon, tomato, and cheese melt. I was surprised to find a huge breakfast sandwich in my bag. Way bigger a s better than Starbucks two bite sandwiches. To wash down my yummy yummy sandwich, I tried another new item on their menu a iced mocha coffee with mocha whip cream on top. The drive thru was fast and the service was great! If only there was a Tim Horton’s in Miami…

One of my favorite donut shops! These guys are everywhere in NF and the surrounding area. It’s kind of the way that Winchell’s used to be in LA — — every other corner. Anyways — donuts are good(I some times go in during the middle of the day just to pick up a couple — or a box(!) of donut holes if the craving is killing me — lol) and the coffee is good too. However, if it’s raining, really cold, or early in the morning, be prepared to WAIT — — they have a drive thru, but sometimes, even if you are going to go inside, you have to wait for a spot in the parking lot!!! …but it’s so worth it!
