2 Stars, because the food was ok. Here is my experience for four on a Friday night: Ordered tuna tataki, 4 sushi rolls, bulgogi, and salmon. First our tuna and dinners came out, no sushi yet. We finished the mediocre tuna and most of our dinner(wanted to save room for sushi). The waitress came by and we boxed up our leftovers, still no sushi. Finally, here comes the sushi, wait this is not mine. I examined the sushi and relooked at the menu to make sure I didn’t make a mistake. When the waitress came back, I told her this wasn’t mine and she took it away only to walk around the corner and put it on another tray and give it to the couple behind us(luckily, I hadn’t touched it). Still no sushi has arrived. Finally 3 rolls come out and they were pretty good, but my wife had to watch us eat, because hers hadn’t arrived. After we finished our sushi, my wife finally got hers and now it was our turn to watch her eat. All in all, the order and timeliness of the food was horrible, but the food was decent. I probably will not return.

Service was very good and fast. We came in a group of 6 and were helped right away and our food came out fast. But the food, not so good. We came here for lunch and ordered bento boxes, lunch bowls, and one of us ordered a Yaki soba noodle. The chicken in our chicken terriaki tasted old and had a weird after taste and so did the fried rice. The California roll that came with the box wasn’t a California roll, it was a roll full of crunch. The only good thing in that box was the vegetable tempura. That was actually very tasty. The soba noodles came out mushy and very over cooked. On the plus side– every lunch special came with soup & salad. On the negative, they were super tiny and they didn’t have a ginger dressing, it was a ranch mustard dressing. The soup was pretty good– it was a mushroom broth, kinda hard to miss that one. I wouldn’t go back or recommend it. If you want. Japanese, Green wasabi is so much better.

My husband and I spent about 5 yrs in Japan and this restaurant made us feel like we were back in Japan. From the greeting when you walk in the door, to the delicious Miso soup, and sushi. We just went for lunch, but we will be back for dinner to sample the rest of the menu!

Very good sushi, good value, moderately priced. Restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Good service and cold beer. We will be back!

Excellent! Best sushi in Niceville. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Owned by the lady that opened Shanghai there years ago. We love going and they are so kid friendly. Would highly recommend to everyone. Reasonably priced too.

Heard this place was closed then just reopened. Wanted to give this place a shot but was sadly disappointed. Prices we’re high and food was ok. Interior décor is nice and service is good but that’s about all that I liked. Ordered the ton katsu(breaded pork) dinner plate. It was $ 13 which made me cringe. Even a bowl of edamame was $ 5! Katsu was overly fried with not much meat and sushi pieces that we’re included only had rice and a piece of cream cheese in it. Won’t be returning
