This is probably one of the best hot Browns I have ever had. Great Hushpuppies and fries, too.

Food was great and reasonably priced. Very happy to support a new local business especially one with great food. I’ll be going back for sure

Late on posting this review, but my girlfriend and I ate here on a Friday night about a month ago. We really were pleasantly surprised by the Nicholasville eatery. I enjoy craft beer and was surprised by the selection and fair pricing. We had the special for our app, bacon wrapped scallops. They were properly cooked and delicious. My gf enjoyed the shrimp and grits for her meal and I had the strip steak cooked medium. My steak was properly cooked but a little tougher than I expected. Overall the atmosphere, food and value exceeded my expectations. I’m glad to have this option here in Nicholasville.

We’ve passed this place multiple times but never stopped for dinner. We’ve been missing out! We dropped by for a late dinner on Friday night and the experience was excellent! I had the meatloaf and my wife had a hot brown. Both were fantastic! We will definitely be back. This restaurant is a welcome addition to Nicholasville and it’s conveniently located on the bypass across from the RJ Corman airplane hangar.

Went for the first time yesterday to a nice new restaurant just south of Lexington in Nicholasville, KY, Chef Joe’s Bistro. I’ve known the chef for almost 30 years, as have many in and around Lexington. Just as one would expect, now that Joe Milanich has his own place, the food is, without exception, wonderful.

Food was really good, we went during brunch and had the hot brown and the bistro cristo. Only negative experience was one of the hot Browns included the bacon and ham that was asked to be omitted. Waiter really didn’t seem to care as he was sure he told the kitchen correctly. No attempt to make amends. However the food is really good and worth the drive.

We arrived a little after 1:00 pm and were greeted at the door by a couple of gentlemen at the hostess desk. They stated that we would be assisted shortly. As they continued to address a problem on the iPad PoS system.(I later discovered one would be our server and the other is the GM.) We waited for a long enough time that it became a little uncomfortable and I actually considered leaving but I knew that if that happened it would be a LONG time before I’d come back. I opted to be patient, after all, they are new. I’m glad you was. Once we were seated things got much better.(Aside from an annoying rotating floor fan directly behind me.) The server was prompt and courteous and the GM stopped by a time or two as well. About the food… We ordered the Onion Ring appetizer and a cup of the Soup of the Day(White Bean Cilantra). Both were very good. For the main course we chose to split the whole Kentucky Hot Brown. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. The country ham on it was fantastic. In my opinion the portion size could be a little larger. Lunch menu items come with one side, including the Hot Brown. I found this on unusual as most places I’ve been dint offer a side with this type of dish. Besides, there really isn’t a good paring to go with a Hot Brown in their selection. We opted for the slaw(which was good) but it just didn’t seem right.(I asked the server to sub the cup of soup but r couldn’t.) We WILL be back, I am very intrigued by this place.
