A company you can trust for any home repairs, remodeling, or emergencies. I have worked with them several times and after many encounters with other general contractors, I can appreciate their knowledge and the manner in which they attack the process. It’s nice to have the peace of mind that something will be done right and PDR will stand behind their work.

Great company, I used them for a water loss in my basement. The crew showed up and removed the water and started the drying process. They where quick and friendly.

This has got to be the worst experience me and my partner has ever had with a company after our home caught fire in 2009. Allstate asked us to use them because they would increase our guarantee to 3 full years instead of 1 on work they performed. I will try and make this short but it’s not going to be easy. First they didn’t cover the opening in the roof correctly and it rained and was around 20 degrees and it soaked up our kitchen cabinets which were unharmed by the fire and smoke. Every single thing they did was done wrong. They never did anything correct the first time. They tried 3 times to lay tile and we had to have them take it up all three times and they went and hired an outside contractor to finish laying the tile. Their painters didn’t caulk the molding and the walls had gaps everywhere. They failed to insulate the fire place box and it was sucking in cold air so much that the heat pump couldn’t keep the house warm. Wiring has been tied into so many different wires that you couldn’t turn off some switches because it was being fed by two different wires. The outside siding wasn’t connect to anything behind it up by the attic. It literally was just floating from once side of the roof to the other. The paint was bought in eggshell and flat and you could tell the finish was different all over the house. They destroyed the front door by carrying out furniture and then charged it to Allstate. The hallway and above the fire place lighting was used from money we saved from not putting back in strips to block in fireplace but they still charged Allstate for those lights and the strips both. They removed the roof and dumped it on the Heat Pump and back deck breaking them both. They then charged Allstate to clean up yard and fix back deck and got near $ 1600 to fix the repairs they damaged and not the fire and they repaired it with two 3“X12’ boards. The rest was just jimmy rigged and the money was pocketed. They removed most of the items out of the house and put into bens and they were suppose to be taken to the warehouse to be cleaned. Those bens never left our curb. They brought them back into the fixed house and they still smelled like smoke. They had to run 4 atomizer for 3 days after bringing back in the items that never were cleaned int he first place. So they came back in a re cleaned everything and let the atomizers run an additional day. We ended up throwing about about half of what could of been saved if they had just taken the items to be cleaned like they said they would. Cost was about 17,000 dollars more to Allstate. They brought back the new refrigerator with scratches all over the Shiny Black Samsung Refrigerator and offered us $ 200 for them scratching the items. The fire wasn’t in the kitchen. Cost Allstate once again. The subcontracted a cheap carpet installer who’s carpeting started falling apart when they unstuck the paper to keep it from getting dirty. They broke both the storm doors and of course Allstate had to buy two more unharmed items to make us happy. So it took two weeks before the mess they made with the wiring was fixed before the county inspector would release it and then he said I wouldn’t light a fire in that firebox unless you get the fire box company back out there to inspect it was put in wrong. So we called them and they came out. They found the no insulation and a life electric wire laying up against the outer heat box that’s a failure again for the electric and he had already said it was safe and signed off on it so we had to have them back out and recheck it again. We brought in our own Contractor who pushed and pushed to get everything up to code and things installed the correct way. So it took us almost 4 months what should of taken 2 months. Plus we’ve never built a fire in the fireplace out of fear it’s still not done correctly. We never caught all the problems and the house still has some minor problems we’ve tweeked out since taking back ownership. I had to hold $ 17,000 of Paul Davis’s end pay for almost one month before we got the major problems fixed to make the house safe to live in. It was hell getting this all done and as he was the contractor for Allstate it could of went very good for Allstate but it went bad for all of us. DONOTUSEPAULDAVIS.
