Gus, the owner, installed carpeting in my former apartment. The job he did was satisfactory. He came to my new apartment to measure my floors for new carpeting. He also looked at the furniture in the apartment that needed to be moved when the job was to be done. However, he neglected to tell me that he could not and would not install the carpeting because he was afraid to move a glass top dining room table. He did not tell me this until three weeks later after he was ordering carpet samples for me. He should have been upfront with me initially and told me that he needed to check with his insurance about moving my glass top dining table. Instead, I kept calling him to ask where the samples were and he only said they had not come in yet. Again, he did not mention that he had a problem with his insurance about my glass top table until three weeks had passed. This is very poor public relations for his company which is now called Alpha and located in Chicago on Belmont and Central. Still clear of him. He is a very poor representative of his company.

Had a decent initial experience, the guys came in and installed the carpet but didn’t take off some of the old carpets remains and then my basement flooded so I try to get them back in to fix the carpet the owner said he will come Wednesday but never came and then he said he would call me to reschedule but never did that either
