Be aware the discounted pricing for laundering shirts comes at a risk of ruining your shirts. They will then deny responsibility. Whatever automated hot air process they use for pressing shirts has discolored(faded) the collar, shoulder and sleeves of several of my more colorful shirts.

They iron the spots right back into your clothes and shrink everything. This place will ruin your clothes!!!

Have brought in numerous sweaters and jackets over the past 2 years. They did a fine job. I like the price and the quick turn-around. Because it is a bulk cleaners, I would not bring fine garments or garments needing special care. That said, I would recommend them for everything else.

The first time they totally shrunk my favorite new sweater so badly it could fit a toddler, second time they get oil splatters all over the shirt that I had brought in totally spotless… take your business elsewhere!

Quick in and out. Cashier could have been alittle more engaging I suppose but it was morning time. :-) Otherwise very efficient.

4 dollar price range? Not quite. Even though the store’s official hours are 7AM-7PM, every time I’ve rolled up at 6:45 — 6:50 they’ve been open and ready to do business. I haven’t had any problems with my clothing — yet — but c’mon people, you ought to know what you are getting when you go to a bulk dry cleaner like CD-One. My one beef is, with all other CD-One Cleaners, why no beverage wraps for your awesome coffee? That coffee gets hot.

This place is right around the corner from where I work, so I tried really hard to like it. I really did. Contrary to the experience that some of the other negative reviewers have had here I never really had a gripe with the customer service. It’s never been anything to write home about, but it’s always been perfectly acceptable for a discount dry cleaner. My problem with this place is the(what I would consider) exceptionally-high garment casualty rate. 4 of the 6 times I’ve brought clothes here to be cleaned(and I usually have quite a few done at a time) I either ended up with broken buttons or destroyed garments. I brought some brand new shirts here for their first cleaning on several occasions and when I got them back they looked old… as if they’d been washed 10+ times, and not carefully washed at that. Worn, faded collars and cuffs, pilling, etc. appeared on brand new, designer garments. Most of the dark-colored shirts I’ve brought here have come back with a pattern from the pressing machine permanently burned into the collars and cuffs. Two silk/cotton blend shirts I had them clean(expensive shirts) came back looking dingy and dusty(literally looks like I dropped them in the dirt). They offered to wash them again, but it made no difference. My sister used to work at a dry cleaner. She said it looked like they’d been pressed at too high a temperature, and that this was sometimes done to save time. Unfortunately that time-saver ruined two of my favorite shirts. If you are brave enough to bring your clothes to this place make sure you check the garments very thoroughly for stains… even minor ones. They don’t appear to look at the garments before they clean them. One of the shirts I brought in had what I thought was a very obvious and large stain on the front that they really should have been able to get out. Instead it ended up being set in and I can’t even get it out myself now. I had a similar issue with 2 other shirts. My advice would be similar to one of the other reviewers here except a bit stronger: this place is a last resort. Don’t bring anything here that you’d be sad to never see again intact. I’ve never had such a consistently bad experience with a dry cleaner… not even close.

09÷06÷12 — As a courtesy to Chris from the corporate office, I am writing a follow up. After reading my review he did contact me regarding my experience and agreed that the situation should not have been handled in this manner and they should have just given me back my clothing as requested. He did offer to send me a check to reimburse me for services not received(you have to prepay here) and I did get after having to follow up on its status some six weeks later. About a week later I did received it. While the service received at this particular location was unacceptable, its nice to know that someone at the coprorate level still knows the meaning of cusotmer service.

Every time I have been here I have found the staff to be rude and lazy. Actually this is based on only 3 or 4 visits because I was so turned off by it that I found a different outlet to go to. I’m a friendly person, and I certainly don’t look like the kind of customer you try to avoid. The staff here paid little attention to me pointing out spots to treat on my pants, even rolled their eyes at me pointing them out, and no surprise they came back less clean than when I’ve gone to other CD One Price outlets. They also did a mediocre job pressing my husband’s shirts — they came back smelling burned, which has not happened at the other stores.

Since this is very near where I work, it’s my go to cleaners. Why? Because it’s cheap, I am always in and out in less than 2 minutes and they do an awesome job. I’ve been using them for two years now and have never had a single problem with them. Note: they do not do specialty items like down coats, leather or wedding dresses. Just literally a slacks/blouse/buttondown/wool coat kinda place. But that’s a-ok with me!

Since I am required to wear«professional office attire» all week long… I was in dire need to find a reasonable dry cleaners. THISISTHEPLACE! Now…would I bring a garment I truly cherished or paid a good chunk of a paycheck for? DEFINITELYNOT! But for the weekly slacks, blouse, hubby’s dress shirt, or a not so favorite coat… MOSTDEFINITELY! You cannot beat the price. Very good job cleaning/pressing… same day service… always available spot in the parking lot., and $ 1.99 an item… works for me!
