Korean Books in Niles (next to H-​Mart) is a small store with a large variety of books. They also sell Korean music, a few children’s games, and gifts.
During my visit, I was strictly interested in Learn-​to-​speak-​Korean books. As you would expect, most of the books are completely in Korean, but they also carry several books with English instructions as well. The study guides and workbooks are available in all age ranges – from children to adult, and all skill levels – beginner to advanced.
The sales lady was very nice. She showed us something that I have only seen on K-​dramas – the laminated wall charts for learning the alphabet, numbers, food, etc. It was exactly what I need for teaching the Korean language! I purchased two different ones.
I will definitely shop here again… next time for cookbooks (some of which contain English step-​by-​step instructions) and to browse through all the Korean trot music and traditional music.
