Sold my elderly parents a protection plan for their furniture set and the sales associate at Morgan’s stated to them that the protection plan«covered all stains.» Well we come to find out that isn’t true. And Morgan’s will not refund their money for the Guardsman Protection Plan. They are both scams. Stay away. Sad to give a locally owned store such a terrible review, but as a former sales associate, it’s illegal to sell products by stating misleading facts. However, they are not offering this protection plan any longer due to «many issues» other customers are having with the same plan. Well if a properly trained associate stated the facts of the warranty, many customers probably wound not have purchased the plans to begin with. I know it’s up to individuals to properly read over all terms and conditions, but this sales associate took advantage of two retired person’s by telling them«yes, all stains are covered». Does this sound like a place to send folks? Probably not a good idea.
