I ordered a funeral spray for my Uncle on January 5, 2016 to be delivered to the funeral home 3 days later, this was NOT a last minute order. I was very specific about what I wanted including the fact that I want a ribbon on the arrangement that read Beloved Uncle. The spray was $ 150. so it was not cheap. The spray was delivered without the ribbon and the following morning many of the flowers were curled and dead. I was very embarrassed. I called Ridgewood Gardens to express my displeasure I was told «what can we do, cut flowers die and we cannot be responsible.» I was also told that Christina, who guaranteed me I would be very happy with my order, was on vacation for two weeks and I would have to call back and speak to her. I am very dissatisfied with the flowers and service. I would not use or recommend Ridgewood Florist. I’m sure there are other florists in the area that would do a much better job.

We needed a funeral spray last minute — same day — on a Sunday. Ridgewood was one of the few places around that was open on a Sunday. They took our order about 3 hours before the wake began, and still offered to customize it for us. Thank you, Christina and Ridgewood, for the excellent customer service. The spray was beautiful. We look forward to patronizing come Spring for our patio planters!

I love the service at Ridgewood Florist. It’s a small family run business and they treat every order as though I was a VIP. And the best part is, they can accommodate any budget and still make the bouquet look fantastic. In me they have a customer for life!

I love shopping here for special occasions and flowers for the summer to display around my home they design everything every year I bring my pots in and they make beautiful arrangements that will not break your pockets the owner always makes me smile and I feel well appreciated and taken care of when I’m shopping there I am very pleased with this establishment and I recommend this place all the time for all needs whether it’s a last minute bouquet of flowers or a funeral or wedding they’ve got you covered 100 percent!!!

We used Ridgewood for a funeral flower order, and I have to say the experience was not favorable. I spoke with Christina and she let me know she would be the one helping me and designing my flower order. The flowers turned out beautiful. We ordered a fairly large wreath of white flowers and they looked much nicer than in the photo. However, I dictated over the phone and spelled out each name that should be signed on the card, and she did not get it right. She left off 1 name and misspelled another (misspelled «ryan» as «rayan»). Since this was for a wake/​funeral, it’s pretty unacceptable that someone be left off the card. Like I said, flowers were beautiful, but they certainly didn’t make up for the book keeping issues.

Ridgewood Gardens is the best place for flowers and plants. Despite if you want cut flowers, flower arrangements, planted flowers, plants etc, you will find whatever you want here. They have flowers from all around the world and if you are looking for a particular flower from another country the owner can purchase them for you through her international connections.
All of the flowers are fragrant, fresh and beautiful. Whenever you walk into one of the green houses you can small all the flowers unlike most places where the flowers have no smell at all. Best of all the owner treats all of her customers like family and the staff is friendly as well.
