Tracy at Field to Table knows food!!! Everything from the tasting to the wedding was filled with beautiful food and beautiful presentation. Even the proposal menu he sends out looks beautiful and the wording makes everything sound just as good on paper as it does in real life. Tracy is super sweet and accommodating to our wishes — all within an extremely reasonable price. We got so many compliments on our food. I took off 1 star because they can be a little hard to get ahold of — proposals and answers to questions can take a little longer than you want — but it’s worth the wait! And once it’s your wedding week they are full speed ahead on making sure everything is done how you want it and making sure everything goes smoothly. Thanks Tracy and crew!

I was pretty disappointed with my experience. I was very excited to begin the process of working with Tracy and his team as he’d been highly recommended. During my initial inquiry about catering my wedding, I was mistakenly emailed in what should have been a staff-​to-​staff only response to my online inquiry. I learned very quickly that they don’t travel and would otherwise make the customer believe that they are «unavailable» instead of speaking the truth. If you don’t want to travel, just say so — don’t pretend that you don’t have the date available and then erroneously email the person you’re speaking to. Very unprofessional.
The best part is that when I responded with a question, I never heard back. An apology is in your best interest, Tracy, if you ever want to serve more Central Coast natives.

Thank you FTT for a wonderful engagement party for my daughter and her husband to be. The venue was perfect and your staff was very professional, taking special care to ensure that the bride and groom to-​be were well taken care of. All of our guests raved about the food (stationary and passed hors d’oeuvres), all was fresh and delicious, including the end of the night strawberry shortcake. Everyone had a wonderful time and the evening was a huge success thanks to you and your staff.

Luckily, I was able to try Field to Table when they catered an event at work. The food was amazing! Everything was so fresh and the presentation was adorable. The tri tip sliders were flavorful and the meat was so tender. The macaroni was served in these cute boat looking leaves. Even the vegetables were perfectly crisp and fresh. If I ever have an event on my own, I will definitely be going to them for catering.

First I’ll say that this review has nothing to do with the quality of food or service for Field to Table. This one star review is sheerly based on the lack of communication and professionalism in attempting to book an event with Field to Table. Here is a breakdown of the last month I spent dealing with FTT:
I sent an email to FTT on ¹⁄₉ inquiring about them catering our wedding on 10÷24÷15. Brittany responded right away saying they were available, and gave us list of questions to answer regarding our tastes and preference. So far so good. I responded on ¹⁄₁₂ with my answers, hoping to hear back from them shortly. I sent a follow up email on ¹⁄₁₆ asking how much longer I can expect to wait to see a proposal. Brittany again responded right away saying that the owner was away on vacation and was backed up with proposals, and that I should expect to get something from them by «next Tuesday» (assuming that to be ¹⁄₂₀). I sent ANOTHER followup email on 1/​22, asking what was up, and again Brittany responded right away, apologizing for the delay, asking whether or not we like short ribs, and assuring us that the owner was «working really hard on our proposal to get it right the first time around». I responded saying that «Yes we do like short ribs», expecting to finally see a proposal from them sooner than later. Another week goes by, then almost another week, so I sent another follow up email last night (²⁄₄), and I get a response from Brittany this morning saying that they ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR OUR DATE! I called Brittany today, and all she really had to say was I’m sorry.
This is the first time I have ever posted anything on Unilocal,and generally don’t believe in doing so, because I feel that assigning a star rating based on your opinion can be unfair to a business, but I felt I truly needed to make the public aware of this experience. This is a completely accurate account of my dealings with them, so you can take that for what it is worth to you. Maybe the food is good, and the service top notch, but I guess Ill never know. Beware when attempting to book with FTT, unless you don’t mind wasting your time.

Field to Table catered my wedding last night. We are SO glad we chose them. The food was high quality & delicious! Tracy, the owner is friendly & reliable. Everyone serving us at the wedding was professional. I ate the beef, which was so good. The pricing is more than fair for what you get. Thank you Tracy & team! Happy bride :)
