This place is great. It’s a warm comfortable atmosphere that’s good for everyone. Chris is GREAT with kids and is currently the only person I take my son to for his haircuts. She doesn’t need any gimmicks like toys or tv shows or rocket ship chairs to engage the kids, she has an awesome attitude with them.
This shop is one of the few places that knows how to do a good beard trim. I go here whenever I can. I just wish they were open on Mondays! You guys are awesome!

What a great find. Spacious and clean, and very reasonable. After talking to the barber I found out the owner was a friend from my hometown in the valley. He ran a school for barbers in Bakersfield. His dad and sister both used to cut my hair, and now his daughter is a barber, here. Great family and great barbers. I highly recommend this place.

I am the type of person that would normally go to Great Clips or another chain, but that all changed when I found POPP’S BARBER SHOP. I love this place! I received one of the best hair cuts! The staff is very friendly and the environment is very welcoming.

popps. a great old school barber shop. so if your in need of a quality hair cut at a fair price. stop on by. just six blocks east of hwy 101 right on thompson. hey what other barber shop is open sunday?

Pops is a cool barber shop, reminds me of barber shops out of my past. They have very fair prices and I always get a great haircut. They have a personalized kind of service, nothing like the assembly line chain shops that seem to be everywhere. They have a nice place if you have to wait, (I have not had to wait yet.)

Now I get my hair done at POPP“s Barber Shop in Nipomo! I have never gotten so many compliments fro all over California! It is a GREAT business and I highly recommend it! The FREE neck & back massage are a GIFT from God! Thanks Popp’s Barber shop for making me look and feel GREAT! I wish I could get my hair cut there everyday!

Tried this shop after I had some problems at the other shop in old town nipomo, and I’m glad I found this place.
New shop is clean and organized, not cluttered. When I was in they had only one barber (a female) and she was GOOD!
a hot towel shave and neck message was included in price. And the price was CHEAP… probably a new shop sales price, but it was good.
I would recommend this shop over any other in nipomo.
