I got the iced skippy mocha and it was one of the best drinks I’ve had at a coffee shop in some time! Love the vibe of the place, the decorations, and Australians have one of my favorite accents so that was a plus too. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Well here’s what they got right: very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, great coffee and meat pies. We will return to check out the panini and soup. The sausage rolls ended up not being my thing, but we gave them a go. In my opinion they tasted strange, and my wife thinks they need more flavor. At $ 2.95 they are less of a value than the meat pies. Pro tip about condiments: the staff will tell you that ketchup is traditionally served with the pies. My friends down in Sydney were confused about that. They said the pies appeared authentic from my picture, but that«we have tomato sauce not ketchup. Is that what you’re asking? Tomato sauce isn’t as sweet…» The pies already have ketchup in them, so don’t put more on as it will overpower the great taste of the pies. Just sayin’… Another reviewer wrote something similar to «the coffee is brown and hot, but nothing to get excited about.» That reviewer is either a hipster«pour-over» snob or actually thinks Starbucks sells good coffee. This may not be the ultimate gourmet coffee house, but the locally-roasted coffee is great. Even better: it’s not Starbucks. Full disclosure: I have no problem drinking Starbucks, but I don’t kid myself that it’s «good». This is a great little locally-owned shop that is what the Aussies would call«fair dinkum»

Love it, great coffee, great people, try this place out people don’t listen to these morons that give them low ratings.

Definitely an authentic Australian place owned by Australians. Their coffee is fun and they have a lot of different flavors. Their menu includes many Australian favorites. Cute place, friendly owners. If I still lived in Nixa, I would frequent more often.

This coffee shop is a little gem in Nixa, MO with an Australian themed décor and quiet atmosphere! Syrups are sadly unhealthy Torani and are not made in-house. :-( Coffee is from a local roastery and excellent! Meat pies are delicious! Affordable prices. Various Australian food and novelties also for sale. Internet speed is 30 Mbps Up/5 Mbps Down and very reliable.

I really like the coffee. The chocolate muffins were devine and the staff is really nice. However, this is not a speedy coffee place. I don’t count off for that since I believe excellent coffee takes time. I also wish they had outdoor seating.

I had one of their signature coffee drinks called«Spotted Dingo». Basically caramel, chocolate, and toasted marshmallow flavor. It tasted like hot chocolate and cost $ 4.45 for a 16oz. Disappointing. Gritty texture, and tasted like a mix. + Christian music — Music was WAY too loud that I couldn’t focus on homework, even with white noise music playing in my headphones loud enough to damage my ears. Probably won’t be back for a while.

This is such a unique and fun coffee shop. I’d never been to an Aussie anything before walkabout and I was pleasantly surprised! I really like the coffee and food here. It’s a good change from your normal Starbucks run. The staff are always friendly and the entire place is decked out in cool Australian books, pictures, even a didgeridoo. I would definitely recommend checking this place out at least once!

Coffee is alright. I haven’t had many hot drinks, the cold ones and super sweet, better for a non-coffee drinker and most of their mixes are powdered and disgusting, especially the Mooloolaba. No real bananas or peanut butter here! The people are friendly and it’s a cool atmosphere, but not really worth going for just the coffee. Until really recently it was Walkabout or Starbucks for coffee in Nixa. I Definitely prefer Starbucks over Walkabout.

Coffee is good. But their meat pies are the main thing I come for. Authentic Australian food. And the atmosphere of the coffee shop is awesome !

Good coffee here, nothing that will change your life, but it’s hot, brown and good enough. The reason to stop in is the food, Walkabout is run by Australians and serves a few actual Australian dishes like meat pies and pasties. They’re filling and reasonably priced.

This coffee shop is fantastic. The best coffee around in my opinion. The owners are sweet people and the staff is helpful and always smiling. I love just the plain olé’ house blend or chemex. It’s strong, but not bitter. I would recommend coming here when you just want a place to unwind with friends or by yourself.

Friendly, personal service. Décor is Aussie/Aboriginal style. Quiet(until live music starts on some weekend nights) Most of all, great coffee. One must try the Chemex(pour over) !!
