The service here is so slow! I understand this is a diner and all but we didn’t even get greeted by our server until we went up to ask for service after 20 minutes! It’s like we didn’t even exist. Every customer should be attended the same large party or not! It’s right that we had to go and look for a server especially considering she didn’t greet us so we didn’t even know who it was ! Some of the waiters here really need to learn to be attentive to all their tables not just the big parties.

Horrible service came in the morning to get myself an everyday value slam with my buddy had to wait 30 minutes until we could even place our order. We didn’t even get any water in between. The only reason why we got someone to take our order was because we were fed up with waiting and I went up front to actually get some service. It wasn’t even busy and they looked fully staffed so I see no excuses in their behalf. Hopefully my food is good cause I’m currently waiting for that to even being served wonder how long we’re gonna wait wish us luck!

Since Denny’s is well-known I won’t go into too much on the resturant itself. However the last time I visited I tried the new Coconut Caramel Pancakes. A lady had approached our table and asked if we would like to try the new product on their menu. She told is we would be reimbursed for the purchase of the item with a Denny’s gift card. I felt adventurous and decided to go for the coconut pancake item. It tasted very good, however, like I mentioned in the survey, the Caramel was too sweet for my taste. So if your thinking of trying the coconut pancake make sure you have a sweet tooth. Overall my experience at Denny’s was good. However we were in a rush and the food did take quite some time to come out.

I always ask for«real» eggs when I go not the«liquid» eggs. Everything was really good and the restuarant was clean enough. I love their breakfast sandwiches, I was never into turkey bacon(fake bacon) till I started eating it there. Now it’s all I ever get. Love the variety they provide for such a fair price!

Unfortunately there is no way to leave zero stars so I’ll leave one. — menu is not updated — burgers are tasteless — they didn’t have soup at 11:20 am — we was waiting for 2 burgers for 50 minutes — at the end they made regular burger for me instead of spicy sriracha which I was asking for — when they finally managed to get me my burger i could eat it because it tasted like sh*t Only 2 good things that I want to say are: + Cheese sticks are ok + Our waitress was good

I have been dining at Denny’s practically since i was born! I am in my mid 40’s and this is the 3rd time that I have been experiencing everything BAD about Denny’s starting with service, food, the restaurant and that including the bathroom. I mean DON’T YOUGUYSCARE? I had a long day on 05/24/2016. Out and about running errands and had 5 loads of laundry to do at the laundry mat and by the time I was done it was 10pm. I was very tired and hungry. I decided to go to Denny’s(the one we normally do with family and friends. NOHO.) This is the 1st time that I have to write a review on Unilocal on this particular Denny’s. Now let me tell you people, I LOVE all Denny’s the one’s that I have been to, but usually come to this NOHO location, since it’s close to my house. I go in, a friendly host seats me right away. An African American young guy and after waiting for 15 minutes, my server Vanessa comes to take my order. All I wanted to eat was their CHICKENAVOCADOCEASARSALAD with some garlic bread. Vanessa has waited on me before several times, no smile, no hello, no recommendations about food. Just very dry, abrupt and the worse thing that I have always noticed about her is that she pretends to always be in a hurry, busy, when the restaurant is not even busy. And she walks away when I am NOT even finished talking to her. VANESSA, learn some manners and common sense. I have noticed that she does know her job well, but has no ETIQUETTES or patience with customers. The minute I was seated, I have noticed that the tables next to me was full of dirty dishes, glasses and more… that needed to be cleaned. I was there for a good hour, and those tables remained dirty until I left. How pathetic is that! I didn’t see any managers around because I know them by face, and some by name. Like Jessie is a sweet, kind, attentive manager that means business. She was not there that day and I don’t know where the other managers were. The employees were goofing around in the back, when orders needed to be taken, and people were waiting by the door to be seated. I mean, honestly I have never seen Denny’s looking so incompetent in every way. What a shame! I have gone there few times in the morning and Steve had waited on me and is a very nice, knowledgeable, professional, funny and attentive worker. There has never been a problem with him. HEKNOWSHISJOBWELL, while still keeping his customers happy. Why can’t the rest of them do the same? My salad with the garlic bread arrived kind of late, and the lettuce was swimming in the Cesar dressing, like I ordered soup or oatmeal. Salad was not tossed, I had to toss it well for like 5 minutes to make sure it was mixed well. My garlic bread was so dry and hard to chew on that I am glad I didn’t break my tooth. I have had that same garlic bread before and it tasted just right. Warm, garlicy, buttery and so soft. She only checked on me once and didn’t care if I had anything to tell her, she would just walk away so fast, that i didn’t get a chance to ask for another refill on my decaf, or get an extra napkin. So UNPROFESSIONAL! I don’t know why this past 3 times that I have been going to Denny’s it is very disorganized, dirty, employees are NOT taking their jobs seriously and there was no manager on duty. At least I didn’t see anyone, since I do know couple of them by face and name… like I said before. I am going to give them one more chance and if I noticed that they don’t care about their customers, I will GLADLY go to another Denny’s where I can spend my money and get the food and service that I deserve or to another coffee shop like Denny’s. Maybe I should start going to IHOP instead. Take this matter into your own hands referring to management in Denny’s or else not only that you would lose your customers, you will get more bad reviews on Unilocal,and complaints to higher authorities if you don’t shape up! I want my Denny’s back! One last thing the one star that I gave was for the host. He directed to my seat right away with a kind smile on his face.

The food here is delicious, but the service is hit or miss. Not too pricey either; they have a great value menu. I definitely recommend the Pancake Puppies, and the Iced Cappucino was pretty dank. I love my coffee super sweet, but I almost didn’t like it because it was kind of borderline at the sweetness. My boyfriend hates sweet coffee, but he still stole several sips of mine, so all coffee lovers should enjoy it. No free refills on that. The Pancakes and Veggie Omelet were both delicious as well.

I rarely ever write negative reviews, say I don’t believe in em, But this time, Denny’s, You need to know. I was just in a bad car accident, they released me from ER and while I was knocked out, they had removed my wisdom teeth as a precaution. That was 48 hours ago, it was BRUTAL, I’ve been bled, poked, sedated, stitched for the past 2 days. Unable to eat, chew or even walk straight, I’ve been forced to drink juice and water… I lost 14 pounds and I’m going pale. Finally 3 days later, I’ve had enough. I want hot food, MYFIRSTHOTMEAL, I want chicken noodle soup and mashed potatoes(anything without chewing), at 9:58 pm on Friday night in North Hollywood. So I call Denny’s, you’re 5 minutes away and open 24 hours. I thought I was a genius. A nice lady answers, I explain my funny reasoning and order 2 bowls of chicken noodle soup, 2 double orders of mashed potatoes with gravy on the side and 2 orders of mac and cheese. «See you soon» 15 minutes later Über drops me off in front. They seem very friendly but understaffed. After 5 minutes I get noticed at the seating lane. I ask to pay for my phone order. She rings me up for a cup of coffee, oops, thats not my order… that you just charged my VISA for… Mine is the chicken noodle and mashed potatoes. Thats ok, leave it charged, ill pay, just help me eat, its been days! After 35 minutes of patiently, sitting, waiting quietly,(almost doze off waiting) the hostess asks me what I ordered. So I display my receipt,. she takes the receipt and goes to the back, she promises it will only take a few more minutes. Still Waiting. Still Waiting,. quietly. Unilocaling this review while I wait. To cut the story short, 55 minutes from the time of the phone call, she hands me two bags of food($ 24.34) It wasn’t until I got home that I realized, she kept my receipt(so I wouldn’t complain, I went back for it later). …what about the food. The chicken noodle soup was great, thats the only reason you have a star. The mashed potatoes were refrigerator cold… It appears your serving is one Ice Cream scoop of cold mashed potatoes. How sad, not even a kid would be happy with that small COLD amount(see picture) The gravy had pieces in it, blobs of goo, there wasn’t enough but it was warm!(see picture) The mac and cheese looks like it came out of a Kraft Easy Mac box, tasteless and yucky, disgusting and colder than the mashed potatoes.(see picture) I know its tough, I know its hard work, I know you work late, I know you don’t get paid enough, I know you’re understaffed and I know you don’t care. So this is a warning to all you who dare. 50 Minute wait for: 2 ice cream scoops of Cold Mashed Potatoes, 2 orders Warm Chunky Goo Gravy 2 orders Cold Mac and Cheese from a Kraft box And 2 solid warm bowls of Chicken Noodle Soup. — — — - $ 24.34 I will never ever never go there again, out.

This is Denny’s. Don’t expect a gourmet meal. I came here with my girlfriend and the food was a okay however the service sucked ass. Me and her waited almost 30 minutes just to get served. The restaurant wasn’t even packed and yet it took a long time to get our food out. The server didn’t look like she cared. I told her about three times that I wanted a garden salad and yet she didn’t bring it. I don’t know what was up with her. I don’t think Denny’s cares about its customers. I think they care much more about money. Either way, if you don’t like to wait that long for your food then I suggest you go somewhere else.

Wretched service as the heavily painted waitress cared a LOT more about anything having to do with talking about lots of people have told her she should be a model with tables for ten minutes THEN she explained her makeup in detail to another table… so I happily said these fooking pancakes got cold while you were chatting that old guy up over there take them back and pay attention to the cook calling out to you that you have orders in the window… Thank you for the worst Denny’s experience I have ever had in my life and the sequin glued below your right eye looks like you just got off shift at a beer and wine titty bar … in a cement block building with one window unit for AC for the entire space so they open the back and front doors and wet down the floor so the breeze can cool the toilet AND hopefully freshen the air… Oh, and by the by, that fifteen minute convo could have been cut way down by asking the cook«can a guy sub salmon in the crazy hot chicken skillet?» Thats how restaurants talk not whuuuuzzzzzz uppppppp to new tables Jesus Christ

I love Denny’s…a lot! I have been to many of their locations, and this is my least favorite. The staff is super friendly, and they recently remodeled the entire restaurant. It looks fantastic! So why 2 stars? The food. Even though all Denny’s should be carrying the same food purchased from the same vendors, this Denny’s is doing something wrong in the kitchen. I will break it down like this: Staff and restaurant environment — 5 stars Food — 1 star If I go back, and the food quality has improved, I will revise my review.

I made the mistake of going to this«Dirty Denny’s» for breakfast. There were only two waitresses on staff and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. When they finally called our name we were sat down at a table and 5 feet away from us, was a pile of dirt on the floor. All of the waitresses including the manager just stepped around the dirt and did nothing. We were served some really, really watered-down coffee and when I tried to send it back the waitress just left it there and gave me a look and walked away. I told her we wanted Cokes instead, since the coffee was so terribly weak. I had to scream out«hello, excuse me, I don’t want this coffee — can you take it away?» She just gave me a dumb look and said, «don’t worry about it, I bring you a Coke.» We ordered our breakfasts, two eggs each over easy and when they finally got around to serving them, they were cold and raw and runny. Yuck! It makes no sense at all why they have a warning on their menu for food borne illnesses relating to raw eggs when they serve raw eggs! We weren’t about to eat them. I quickly let them know that we did not like the eggs, because they were cold, raw and runny and then the waitress called the manager and she had to come over and take them back. We told her we did not want any more eggs then she had to argue about what the difference was between«over easy eggs» and«over medium eggs» which was ridiculous, because I always over order my eggs over easy and I’ve never ever had a problem. When it came time to pay the bill, I let them know that I was not happy with my dining experience and I told them about the dirt on the floor and they acted like they didn’t know about it, when you know they did and they just ignored the problem and just walked around the pile of dirt as they walked by the table several times This is the worst Denny’s I have ever been to. Not only is it dirty, but it is in a bad area on top of it. There was a bum sitting in the waiting area who was loudly mumbling to himself repeatedly and they didn’t even bother kicking him out. There was also a bum in the bathroom washing her face and brushing her teeth. Needless to say we will never ever go to this«Dirty Denny’s» again. It was completely dirty and disgusting!

Unfortunately, it is true. For whatever reason this particular Denny’s is slow and noticeably disorganized at night. On more than one occasion my order has been messed up, or something was missing, or the tomatoes were outside the omelette, or the bathroom needed the trash taken out and was overflowing… It feels like they never quite get their bearings or they’re not paying attention or they are simply not taking care of things until it’s too late. Maybe they’re short-staffed? Oddly enough, you still can’t help but come back, considering its a great location and it’s Denny’s.

Granted it’s a Monday at 2:00pm, but this place is either short staffed it lazy staffed. The interior is pretty swanky. The front of house staffers had a couple tasks, one woman politely told us she’d be with us in a second. The other said you can sit anywhere, we’ll send your server by… That’s how you end up getting bad service with poor seating. The only table we could sit at, that was clear and didn’t have anyone already seated, had salt all over it. A woman brought us menus, but didn’t clear, or apologize for the obvious huge amount of salt on the table. Our server was totally awesome. But we walked in and here were at least 6 tables in bussed. Our server had to bus his own tables, I served for 5 years, thats ridiculous. A busser showed up after us being in the restaurant for about 30 min. But the server cleared the majority of the items.

Well we ended up coming back cause they remodeled. It’s so much nicer here now. Service is 100% better and so much more efficient now. There’s a new manager and all new employees. I was here a little over a year ago and there’s so much improvement. Everything came out nice and quick and very efficient. And as always there coffee is bomb.
