Stinelli Bros. Moving & Storage

I recently moved from Pittsburgh to Washington DC and had a great experience with Stinelli Brothers. Since this was the first time I moved, I initially signed up to get information on
(I don’t recommend doing that because all you will get is call after call from brokers day after day). From the first phone call, I was impressed with how much Stinelli Brothers stood out. Rick, the moving consultant from Stinelli Brothers, took time to give me background on the company (they are family owned!) and gave me information on what they do during the moving process. After the initial call, Fred one of the brothers, stopped by to give me an estimate. This was my first time moving and Fred took the time to educate me on what I should be asking other moving companies and what I should do and shouldn’t do. Because they were so open and helpful I decided to go with Stinelli Brothers. They took several days to get me ready to move. First Paul, Barry and Eddie came to pack my things and inventory everything. The following Monday they came to pack up everything and the original plan was to deliver it the next day. However, we had some really nasty weather in the area and they were flexible enough to switch their plans on Tuesday morning at 7am. Barry who was driving the truck down to DC even turned around after leaving from Pittsburgh at 6am. They arrived on Wednesday afternoon after unloading another house and proceeded to unload my stuff. They even carried my couch up 9 stories to my apartment because it was too big for my apartment’s elevator! I felt horrible, but they didn’t even complain and made jokes and was funny about the situation. Everyone who I delt with either via phone or in person, was very nice and pleasant. Rick and the other ladies in the office kept me constantly updated and I appreciated everything that they did for me during my move. If I could I would give Stinelli Brother’s 10 stars and I whole-​heartedly recommend Stinelli Brothers to anyone that is moving in the Pittsburgh area and I would use them again in a second!

February of 2014 I was faced with a company move from the Pittsburgh area to Charlotte, NC. I had never done a corporate move before, so looking for a moving company was a huge panic for me. I had done some looking online, and put my email & number into a website to get quotes. I got a zillion calls, and one of th24 em was actually from a local number — on the other line was Rick from Stinelli Brothers. Rick spent an hour on the phone with me for our initial contact, and made an appointment to have someone come out & give an in home estimate. Fred (come to find out he was one of the owners) came out, and did an estimate and then spent another hour going over questions and giving me information on how they came up with the quote. Within 24 hours Rick had emailed me a quote, and had called to check to see if I had any questions. Arrangements were later made for packing my home and loading the truck. My move was in the beginning of May and I could not be more pleased with every person I’ve come in contact with at Stinelli Brothers. My driver Lee was there from truck loading to delivery which was nice because moving so far away from home it was nice to have a familiar face with all my worldly possessions. I could not have asked for a better group of people to work with! Since I am in customer service their customer service they gave to me was so important and outstanding! I would totally recommend them to anyone who was moving either locally or out of state! In fact, several of my co-​workers that were relocating used them based on my referral. I will gladly recommend them a hundred times over!

Last month we moved from Pittsburgh to Michigan, and we had a wonderful experience with Stinelli Brothers. Even though I was eight months pregnant at the time, this was the most stress-​free move that we had ever had. They were very helpful and thorough as they talked through the details of our move with us, promptly dropped off boxes when we needed them for the packing we were doing ourselves, and were fast and efficient with the packing and loading that they did for us. Our things arrived on the day that they scheduled (even though they technically had a three-​day window), and the same people who loaded our truck unloaded it. We also loved the fact that anything that they disassembled at our house in Pittsburgh was reassembled for us at our new house. Everything arrived in good condition. All in all, our move went smoothly and easily, and I am so thankful that they gave us such a pleasant experience.
