The worst food and service I have ever experienced! You have to try really hard to be that bad! What a joke!

When I 1st heard the name and that it was a Texas BBQ my heart jumped. After living in Texas for 13 years I real real missed BBQTEXASSTYLE. Was I let down!!! I have eaten BBQ all over the State Of Texas and I understand what Texas BBQ is!! Texas BBQ is smoked meat, you have to have a smoker to make Texas BBQ. Texas BBQ is beef cooked low and slow in a SMOKER! Texas BBQ brisket sliced and chopped, smoked sausage, and in some places chicken and pork, but BEEFISKING in Texas!!! Everything is BIG in Texas and when you go to a BBQ joint you get a huge plate of food and I mean HUGE! Dick’s misses the target when it come to Texas BBQ and for all the wrong reason’s. You have to think like a Texan the make good BBQ! Remember to eat well and live well! And please no chain’s!

This is actually for the new Dick’s location in Noblesville on Greenfield Road. Thought for a bit they had brought back the franchise. But, in my last visit there, the brisket they served up was a stringy roast, not the buttery beef that Dick started out with. New supplier? But the worst. When I asked for extra BBQ sauce, they charged me for it. In Texas, charging for extra sauce will get you lynched.
