Had purchased new appliances for our kitchen(including microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and range top stove) back in early September of this year. In discussing the particulars of delivering the appliances, we were assured multiple times by salesman and other store employees that the purchased items were in stock and would be delivered in their entirety. We were instructed that it would be our responsibility to contact hhgregg to schedule a date for delivery and installation of all appliances. From there, we started the process of getting the purchase finalized in the company computer system. Towards the end of September, delivery personnel show up at our home. However, they advise that the only appliances available are the dishwasher and microwave. No reason was given for why the other appliances were not available. One of the delivery personnel stated that it was his guess that the remaining items were on back order. Over the next 80+ days(from date of purchase), numerous follow-ups are made by my wife and myself to get the delivery scheduled and the missing appliances installed. No luck at all and we are frustrated that we’re doing all of the follow-up. Throughout all of this, there was no demonstrable effort by hhgregg to take ownership of this issue and get it matter resolved. A week before Thanksgiving, I write a letter to the CEO explaining what has transpired to date. Included with my letter is an invoice to hhgregg asking that they compensate our family for the time used in this whole experience. Receive call from regional manager shortly after the holidays. He takes personal responsibility to ensure that the appliances are delivered and installed. Long story short, the missing appliances are delivered the middle of December(90+ days from date of original purchase). While I’m appreciative of the regional manager’s efforts to bring this matter to closure, I believe the rating given is justified based upon our family’s experience. Thanks, Adam

I’m soooo tired of big box stores and their sales practices. Sorry, I can’t give you the price that we advertised last week or the price that we’ve already advertised for three days from now because it’s «below our cost.» Oh, I get it! So all of a sudden, in three days from now, the TVs, which are stacked in a neat pyramid of forty boxes on the floor, that cost higher now, will cost you less then, and you’ll be happy as a pig in slop to sell it to me at the price that you advertised last week and the price you will have it in three days from now at that time. Dolts! Tell you what, I won’t buy any new TVs from you or any other big box store. Hello, Internet!
