5 Stars is Overrated… NEVER ! Located just off Indiana 37 on Conner Street is a real American Dream. Mr. G’s Liquor Store is what’s good about American small business. Locally owned and operated since 1977. For almost 40 years the owners have responded to the local market by supplying a variety of beer and spirits at fair and reasonable prices. I have found the staff at Mr. G’s to be welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. You are greeted warmly and treated like a customer whom they want to earn business from. You don’t have to put up with some clerk on their cell phone acting too busy to help you. They’ve been instrumental in introducing new options to a growing and changing Noblesville market by bringing in affordable and higher end scotch, bourbons, craft beers and an excellent selection of red and white wines yet still keeping an ample supply of good old American cold beer. It’s nice to keep local money in the local economy but it’s even better when a store appreciates the customer and offers a good product at a good value.

If you’re looking for wine, whiskey, craft beer or just bud light then Mr G’s is your local go to. I’ve been shopping there for about five years and I always find something new to try. The tastings they have periodically are also great ways to try something new if you don’t want to buy it before trying. If you go to their website you can find the tastings schedule under the news and events link. If you are in during the evening hours ask for Bryan, he’s a wealth of knowledge!

Great selection of craft and popular beers, good selection of liquor, and pretty decent cigar case. Picked up wild turkey American honey and I haven’t put it down. This is gonna to be my go to liquor spot the foreseeable future.

One of the few place that I called that carried a 21 year old scotch that I’ve been searching for as a gift. I stopped in last night and the man behind the counter was super helpful. I told him I was there for two things, he had both and helped me get them! What more can you ask for? They do have a pretty large beer selection too. I might have to frequent this location over any of the others around.

I was on a mission to craft a «man-tastic» gift basket for my boyfriend and wanted to include Indiana craft brews without having to go to far out of my way to get them. While Mr. G’s has a pretty solid selection of craft beers from across the US, they were lacking a bit in Indiana based selections. And most of what they did have was covered in a nice layer of dust. I was able to find several selections from Triton, one from Upland, one from Mad Anthony, and one from Flat12. Prices are decent throughout the store and they have a little bit of everything from small bottles of liquor, cups and glasses, wine, accessories, mixers, etc. I think it’s the owner who is in the store most days and he is friendly and helpful. Aside from the dusty bottles, the store is clean. I have come to the conclusion that most folks stop in for either whiskey or cold beverages and not so much wine or single bottles of beer. You do receive a 10% discount when you buy 6 or more bottles of beer to create your own 6 pack. In any case, I continue to shop here for booze because it is conveniently located for me.

What better thing to do on a Sunday in Indiana than write a review of a Liquor store I cannot visit due to silly Blue laws of yesteryear and yestermorals. Mr. G’s is what I find to be the best place for craft and micro-brews in Noblesville. Their port selection was a bit disappointing, but they made up for it in their spirits shelves. The staff was very kind and helpful, and admitted when he didn’t know an answer, rather than try to make it up and get me to buy something lesser. I respect that. That said, prices were reasonable and they seemed eager to order anything they lacked especially for one in dire need of a Tawny Port or a high octane Dreadnaught. Very easy to find with a very large storefront. I’ll certainly be back. Cheers!
